The Phantom of the Opera
by I know this movie was in theatres quite a while ago now, but it just came out on DVD. I absolutely love this movie. I have not seen a ton of Broadway Plays but out of the 5 or so, this was hands down, the best musical. What I thought was so great about the movie was that it totally did justice to the play. Every wonderful song was incorporated into the movie in full, and I thought it was just as moving as the play was. Plus the fact was that there is so much more room for amazing set designs in a movie. I loved the phantom's "lair". I think my favorite part of the movie was the last scene down there...it made me cry! Have a lot of you seen The Phantom? Love it?

I was spoiled seeing michael crawford and davis gaines as the phatom, and sarah brightman as christine, but i thought this cast was great. awesome job.
