Miracle
by So I went to go see Miracle tonight. It was such an awsome movie. It was even better than I expected. I'm so going to see it again. I would totally recomend it especially to anybody who likes hockey. The acting in it was pretty good considering the fact that almost none of the players were actual actors but they were really hockey players. Overall a great movie. 2 thumbs up.

I don't. They used to play at like 11:30 at night and that was just too late for me because I had work at 2am so I never got the equipment. I would love to play on ice but it's never been worthwhile for me to get the equipment.

Great movie. Saw it Friday and again Sunday. Russell plays a perfect Herb Brooks.
I'm so stoked you enjoyed it! I was unable to make it this weekend, but I'm sure going to make it this week. That is truly great that they had real hockey players and not actors...although there are a sick amount of actors who do play hockey!
Something tells me Dennis Leary wouldn't fit the role though.

Except this movie is a real life event and 100 times better. I love the Mighty Ducks movies and all but this movies is soooooooo much better. It doesn't even compare at all. I went with some people who aren't even that into hockey and they even thought it was good.

Yeah it was 1980. I actually watched the real game the night before I went and saw the movie they had it on one of those classic sports channels.
Another misconception is everyone thinks it was the Gold Medal game, it wasn't. Fact for the day.
Yeah they still had to win one more game to win the gold. The one major thing about them winning is that in every single game they played they had to come from behind to win. It truly was amazing that they won.

i thought the same thing at first-'oh another movie about how amazing america is blah blah' but it really was a good movie. the game was exciting. made me want to run out and play hockey right then.
