Law & Order *Updated*

theremin by thereminOG 2002 · May 12, 2004 · 241 views · ·

The only crime drama I watch consists of Law & Order: CI, Law & Order: SVU, and Law & Order. The Law & Order franchise is ending it's season.. which is sad, 'cause I want new episodes not repeats. Certain things you can watch more than once.. but with the Law & Order shows, I really can't watch more than once. After watching it once, you already know how the ending turns out, for the second time of viewing.. which is not fun. I like doing guesswork when I'm watching a Law & Order show, but there is no guesswork after the first time of watching an episode. Last week, after Law & Order, they showed the preview for the following week, which had some sad news. They were a little to obvious about it too. It was said that someone is leaving. And it showed a picture of Jerry Orbach. He's been in Law & Order since it's beginning. When long time characters just leave like that.. you always wonder if the show will ever be the same. Well watch tonight. Unless the preview is supposed to be a misleading teaser.. it might very well be Jerry Orbach's last episode on Law & Order. My favorite of the Law & Order franchise, is Law & Order: CI.. so, hopefully those actors and actresses will stay.. and be in the next season of episodes.

Update

Okay. The season finale of Law & Order is next Wednesday. So we'll hafta wait another week. They just showed the preview for it, again tonight.

New Law & Order season starts soon!

Now, to get back on track with what this Forum is really supposed to be about... Law & Order!!!...

If you mentioned this already and I missed it, I'm sorry for not paying attentiona dnrepeating you....BUT....I thought you might like to know this.

Jerry Orbach, while leaving the original Law & Order, isn't actually leaving Law & Order. You know how Law & Order was doing so well that they made 2 other Law & Order shows? Well, I found out last night, that Jerry Orbach will be starting up another Law & Order show, although I'm not sure what it's called. Obviously it's being done by the same people who make the Law & Order shows, so I think it should be interesting.

Interesting. As long as Law & Order keeps Elisabeth Röhm, I'm a happy man.

When Mariska Hargitay was interviewed on Late Nite with Conan O'Brien recently, she said that not just one, but 6! new Law & Order shows are going to be added to the franchise. I'm not sure when that's gonna be. Supposedly, next year I think.

specialk specialkOG 2003 ·

Whoa....that's a lot of law...and order. :)

Six new series? Maybe they'll make one I like! Law and Order: Celebrity Indiscretion. It would have a celebrity guest starring on every episode and they'd kill a hooker or do tons of drugs and cripple a senior citizen. I should write for that franchise. I'd never run out of ideas.

specialk specialkOG 2003 ·

HAHAHAHA!!! That's hilarious. :)

I'd write one for Dave Chapelle. And he'd get fired from his show and then go on a killing spree. "i'm dave chapelle, beyatch!"

I think Dick Wolf orginally wanted to do a Law & Order show for all 7 days of the week, but the Network wouldn't allow it, I guess. Since the 3 shows he has now are so successful, it seems the network is finally gonna allow more Law & Order shows to be made.

Did someone tape last night's Law & Order. I was at a baseball game. I managed to watch from 10:39 to like 10:50 on the ride home. Once it went 10:50 the tv went all snowy. Plus, I missed the first 39 minutes anyway.

time for tvtorrent!

theremin thereminOG 2002 ·

Surrey?

fivezero fivezeroOG 2003 ·

You're not in Britian yet. Hold off on the speak, lol.

Anyway, tvtorrent is way to acquire television shows that you may have missed. You can download then for your viewing pleasure.

theremin thereminOG 2002 ·

Ahh. Like TiVo? Well, I have neither TVtorrent nor TiVo. And, it's too late anyway, since the show already broadcasted.

thatdarngirl thatdarngirlOG 2002 ·

Where can I find tvtorrent? I have a bittorrent program thingy..so that should work?

fivezero fivezeroOG 2003 ·

Yes, it should.

Good shows (although i don't really care for Criminal Intent). They're pretty high priority on my Tivo.

But CSI is higher.

theremin thereminOG 2002 ·

Hmmm. No one left. What was that preview all about then, that they showed last week? Maybe it happens one week from today. I'm confused.

thatdarngirl thatdarngirlOG 2002 ·

I have always loved the original Law & Order! It definetly won't be the same without Jerry Orbach if they keep it going. Of course, there are plenty of old episodes I haven't seen so I guess I can always watch them.

Criminal Intent is reaaal good because it's kinda twisted. The guy in that (the one from MIB) is nuts.

hunkpapap hunkpapapOG 2003 ·

I think he is one of the greatest characters on tv.

theremin thereminOG 2002 ·

Right on with your "right on!"

theremin thereminOG 2002 ·

Criminal Intent is my favorite Law & Order. It's the hardest one to try and predict the outcome for. The twisted dude is awesome. What's his name ... Chris D'onfrio? or something. I love how he gets the criminals all squirmish, by messing with their physche and all. He doesn't arrest them right away.. he makes them sweat bullets first. It's awesome!

fivezero fivezeroOG 2003 ·

Vincent D'onofrio. He's SUCH a great actor. I wish he didn't crossover into TV shows. I miss him on the big screen.

theremin thereminOG 2002 ·

What do you mean? He does terrific on Criminal Intent. Movies or television, he's brilliant in both. Some crossovers don't work, but in his case, he's making out really really good. That's due of course to the fact that's he's a really good actor. He better not leave CI... it wouldn't be the same without him.

fivezero fivezeroOG 2003 ·

Robert. We can share. I've read that he's doing both television AND film. Rejoice, old friend.

theremin thereminOG 2002 ·

Except, my name's theremin. Well, Lev Sergeivitch Termen, actually.

socalgal socalgalOG 2003 ·

He's a lil eccentric. His name is Robbie. He likes Theremins and all things British. He's European and such. What is anyone anymore?

theremin thereminOG 2002 · fivezero

Bah. Fivezero is ignorant. He likes making unauthorized biographies, and profiting from their release.

Ignore fivezero. He's all too Skittish for his own good. Lev Sergeivitch Termen is Russian. He's dead tho, sadly. He was the inventor of the theremin.

Me... the real me... I'm Scots-Irish and Welsh, among some others.
