by What are some of your favorites? Mine are:
Cranium: A mix between a few different types of games...Pictonary, Trivial Pursuit, Encore.
Scrabble: Classic word game. My husband and I got sooo into this on our honeymoon.
Taboo: Sooo much fun, very loud, more fun if you have inside jokes with your game partner...like..."I had one of these in my backyard w/ a DJ.." answer: Graduation-"Party"
Battle of the Sexes: The most fun if you have a big group of guys/girls. The men have to answer questions women would most likely know and vice versa.
Scattergories: You roll a letter of the alphabet and have to go though the categories naming things that begin w/ that letter. Ex: The letter is B. Girls names that start w/ B. Countries that start w/ B. ect.
Monopoly: No description needed. The longest game...ever!
Outburst: I forgot how to play, I just remember I like it.

Family Fued I haven't actually played it but,I've wanted this game for a while.

haha, friends of ours just went to NYC to try out for Family Fued. They'll know if they got it in a couple weeks.
i luv pictionary! it's so funny cause sometimes you'll have a friend who's the "artist" and when it comes to drawing "under pressure" they're the worst artist. lol
I don't know how to spell it, nor do I care how to spell it, but baulderdash is a cool game. You make up definitions to words, and everyone votes one which THEY think is the correct definition. Pretty hilarious times.

I love Taboo (definently funning if you're playing with really close friends or siblings that one word that means nothing to everyone else helps them guess the word on the card) and Scattergories has long been a classic in my house even though we all get really angry over it.
scattergories. the day we discovered that we all only have one brain.
It's funny playing this game though because when your playing with someone that you know really well it makes it sooooo much easier because you just can tell what each other are thinking and have points of reference to use. hehehe

it's nearly impossible to like board games enough to leave wow to play em.... and its nearly impossible to keep friends, once you start playing wow. Well, impossible to keep non-wow, board-game-playing friends.

oh man, it was super fun. the rules were:
1. you had to guess who the winner was. If you were right, you dont have to do anything. If you're wrong...take a shot.
2. Anytime an artist thanked God...take a shot.
3. Anytime you saw someone's belly....take a shot.
I can't remember if there were more rules.
