Does anyone play/immerse themselves in this?
I've been reading about it on some of the sites I visit daily.
I know very little about. I joined the other night, but i don't have the time to explore everything?

Have it, entered the world about two times. I keep meaning to check it out for a while but never make the time to. I've seen interviews and read accounts of people who make a living in this game. It has a real economy that you're able to use and cash out real $$$. I saw one woman who basically designs clothing for your avatar in the game and makes enough money doing that to the point it's her full time job.
I'm jealous.
All this is why i was asking about this game, cause I read all this stuff to and it is totally crazy. fashion desingers (real life fashion desingers) hold runway shows. real life architechs (sp?) get paid real money to build stuff. and real companies are paying real money to advertise.
I've read about people who can make $40,000 + a year on this site.

I don't get WoW, it's really not that good. DAoC is so much better.
no way dude! Losing all your inventory when you die totally sucks! Does DAoC have constant improvements, and new content added at least once a month? WOW did.
Where did you hear you lose your inventory? You don't lose anything, but experiance, and even at end game who cares about that?
Yes, there are always improvements. The coolest thing about DAoC is the constant struggle with the two other realms. Having seiges are a blast!

but if it's a game online and involves the word " LIFE ".. just stay away.
the only LIFE game acceptable is the one with the board.. and the spinning dial in the middle
and the cars with the holes.. and the holes are filled with blue and pink pegs.. and they represent kids and people.. and there's money and you go to college and get a job and stuffs
every singe time i play that game i end up with like 3 kids. goodness. so virile.
