Life line

It seems that there is a somewhat new idea for video games. It's a game called lifeline and the game is controlled completely by voice commands. It's the ONLY way you can play the game. It's an interesting idea in my opinion. Basicly you talk to characters and they respond by following your commands and/or answering your questions.

Here's an article on it.http://www.cnn.com/2004/TECH/03/03/hln.game.lifeline/index.html

So what does everyone think of this idea for a video game?

I dunno sounds kinda lame. I think mixing voice commands with normal controls is a better idea. Such as in Unreal Tournament 2004 how you can set it up to use voice commands to control your bots while playing in single player mode.

Yeah, I think you need a mix because if it doesn't understand you you'll be there all day.

Rainbow Six 3 is like that too, there's a mix. You can issue voice commands or commands via the controller.

Yeah I know the idea is rather wierd in my opinion. Not something I think I would be interested. Half the fun of games is all the button pressing. lol
