the pure hit system, i think i got the hitting down. i can usually get enough hits to do ok. i always aim for where i think the pitch is going, unless i am trying to hit a HR. then i press up on the analog stick.

John, have you figured out the 'pure hit system' yet? I can't get it down. I tried practicing during a home run derby and couldn't get it.
Oh, and if you want to cheap with getting MVP points you can. If you're losing the home run derby or the pitch off you can just switch to the winning person just before he wins and you'll get the MVP points as if you won the whole thing.
Personally I played the previous one and wasn't all the thrilled with it. I really prefer the triple play baseball games but hey that's me.
This game is awesome, you really should check it out.
I've barely played my triple play game as it is. To many other games I'm in the midst of playing and beating at the moment.

Yeah I will conced that baseball can be boring to watch and it's defenitly not the best video game to play but playing the actually sport is fun.

i was stoked they won....having never won the world series....the stadium being right next too where i live....how could you not get caught up in the moment.....did i catch a game? maybe the last inning of the final series to see if they won but other than that NO WAY, did i go to any of the games??? NEVER....but i was stoked, how could i not be seeing i'm from anaheim and all....SO BLAH BLAH BLAH...hahaha

I want this game really bad, it looks awesome. I don't have a baseball game for anything (except my GBA) but I think I may have to pick this up. So much for not buying any more games. :(
