by A while back I met this girl that seemed nice at first. I didn't have any romantic interest in her at all, but apparently I gave her the impression that I did. Apparently she got so jealous because she thought I also liked her best friend (which I didn't) that they had a huge fight and haven't really spoken since. After that wouldn't stop calling me and leaving me crazy messages when I wouldn't pick up. The story goes deeper, but it was just a weird situation. Recently she left me a message saying that she was thinking about moving to my area... I don't know if I should call her back or not, i'm thinking... not...
Anyway, who here has been stalked? Stalked someone? Any stalker success stories??

This is a girl who I thought was completely normal and someone cool to hang out with and suddenly she starts to call me like 10 times a day. And she doesn't let me get off the phone. I could be like "i have to go" and she'll start another story about something totaly irrelevant that she already told me in the last conversation!!!!!!!! I HATE IT!!!!! I told her I'm not much of a phone person but she does not quit. I don't pick up the phone. I don't return her calls. And she continues!!!!! She does not get the hint at all!!!!!!!!
Then for a few weeks it stops, and then she texts me or something and I feel bad so I say hi and then NONSTOP PHONECALLS FOR A WEEK

and like she doesn't realize that after a LONG day of work I don't really feel like talking to her on the phone for 2 hours, i have stuff I need to get done, I have a husband to hang out with and talk to, i have work to do, cats to feed, paint to watch dry, grass to watch grow, ANYTHING ....

oh and by the way she is married but i have no idea i guess she doesn't ever talk to her husband, and I really wonder if other people are okay with this kind of behavior and i'm the only one that doesn't like someone calling me every 10 minutes "to say hi"
When i see her name on my phone I just think to myself "hmm... do I have 2 hours to kill?" and usually the answer is NO so I just don't pick up.
It's sad but what can I do???

someone changed my friends number to his in my phone and was then stalking me via texts and phone calls. when i said STOP CALLING I DON'T KNOW YOU! he said well if we exchange pictures then we'll know each other. BLOCKED!!

So I got this call this past weekend, around 10 one night. Right away I recognized their voice but , I didn't say so. They were like um who's this, so I said and they say oh wow, wrong number. LAME & creepy
There was this one guy..found out much later that he used to sniff my hair. :/ I didn't even notice! not cool. If you wanna sniff my hair ask me first.. that way I can say "BUZZ OFF!"
oooh thats creepy! i had this one co-worker that if i was walking by he'd lean in real close and like sniff my neck......i was SO creeped and needed a shower after everytime cuase i jsut felt so dirty.

A former friend of mine was sort of stalked...her senior year.
This guy moved into town/school so she, tried to help him out if she could. Next thing she knows he's popping up in the strangest places, asking around about her... he even tried to get some of her vacation pics from a friend of his that worked at the lab where she got them developed. There were some other pretty disturbing things but, I'll leave those out. WORST PART he was actually cute...to bad he was WAKKO
When I was in high school, there was this really annoying guy that wouldn't stop asking me out. I thought he was cute at first, but then realized he was crazy. After I told him I thought he was a looney toon, he still hung out around my locker and followed me. My brother (who weighed about 110 pounds at the time) pulled him aside by his collar in the hall one time and said something to him (it seemed like it was laced with threats). The guy never spoke to me again. I wish I knew what he said to suggest you say it to this girl, but I have a feeling it was really mean and full of swear words.
You need a mediator to tell this girl off. A backer, or patsy. Rocksupastar's a good choice; he can yell loudly.

You should do like I do, keep a low profile. Women are creatures with many emotions that take them from a high to a low quickly. From my experience of being married for 4 years, this girl is not stable, much like my former wife. You're better off staying away. You'll save yourself some headaches.

so to remedy this situation cerrato only sees the girl he likes about once every 4 months with random phone calls that proves she still remembers him and thus, his mack still works.
if this is the girl who I think it is...she actually seems pretty cool. But, I don't know her like you do, matty, AND if the attention is unwanted...well, that makes sense that you'd be freaked out by it. Could it be that she is just a girl who really admires you, but since you don't like/want her attention, it makes it seem like she's stalking you?

Well, there was this one... "scary tara" I called her. She had a tall skinny blonde friend with a big schnoz. We called her "big bird".

At my last job this one girl there said that when she and her boyfriend broke up, she was so jealous that she would sneak into his house and wait for him. She was such a stalker! anyway, theyre now married.
also another girl there was being stalked by some guy, he just like showed up at her house and stuff. now they're dating seriously. (todd works there now, so maybe he has more details on this situation)
so I guess in some cases, people actually LIKE being stalked. Sick world. (Anybody see that show "get a life" with chris elliot, the one where he stalks some chick and then gets stalked by another?)

Anyways, do NOT call her back. She WILL get the impression that you care....even if you do, just a little, she'll think you like her times 50. Not even kidding. To break up a friendship over a guy that you weren't even remotely close to dating is....well, VERY odd to say the least. It sends ALL KINDS of red flags. I'd just shy away. And if she does move to your area, do your best to not hang out in her group, unless it's completely unavoidable. She'll hopefully get the picture.
Or you could start by changing your number if it gets bad....it's temporary sometimes (because if you know people she knows, she could still find out your number), but at least it might get her out of the way for a while. :)

i've been stalked...its scary. there's this one study in my hall that he stares at me all the time. It got so bad i almost changed congregations. he would leave when i would leave, wait in his car and drive out the same time i would....he was strange! I know i shouldn't be thankful that he doesn't attend anymore but he was pretty scary.
oh yeah, and don't bother calling the girl back she seems like she has a lot going on up in the brain and if you call her back she'll think "relationship" haha
