by Uhhhh boy. General George M. Steinbrenner III met with Boston's Pedro Martinez today. Pedro is a free agent and apparently George wants him to come to the Bronx. Pedro and the Yanks have a bitter rivalry, and he is the object of hatred of many New York fans.

I had a feeling this was going to happen. Bottom line is he's a good pitcher. Would you have seen Wade Boggs in pinstripes in the late '80s? How about Roger Clemens? Nope, but it happaned to our benefit.
