Question About Carbs
now that skool's open, i can use the weight room. i got a new routine and i'm all ready to go, but one thing i haven't thought of is my food. here's my question: if you heat up a piece of bread or something, are the carbohydrates destroyed?

wow. this is funny stuff. i like birds told me to come in here.
ok here goes -> bread is 99% carbohydrates. If you burned it to a crisp, you'd effectively be turning thoses carbohydrate molecules into carbon(the black charcoal stuff left over) and water vapor(smoke).
So I guess if you put a slice of bread in your toaster for like, half an hour, after you're done putting the fire that has engulfed your kitchen out with several fire extinguishers or a fireman with a hose, you'll have a nice slice of carbon left over. minus the hydrates.
enjoy.
hahhaa.... dean has such a way of painting pictures with words.
lol! thanks for the tip dean
i remember seeing how many calories were in a peanut in 7th grade.... but we didn't have any left for I had eaten every last one. Needless to say.....I was a load in the grade.
I had to do that too, with a calorimeter...which was actually a soda can. I guess it was a ghetto calorimeter.
not true, bread is almost al carbs, just don't eat it. stick to chicken and tuna with nothing added to it if you don't want carbs
oh ok, cuz someone told me just heating up the bread eliminates all the carbs, and i wasn't sure about that. thanks eh
ohhhh dean would you like this one? dean..? anyone... ohhh i can't .. i just can't.
hey are you tryin to trick me again? "i may be illiterate, but i'm not stupid!"
sorry. just pictured you on a no carb diet... and to enjoy some bread.. you popped it in the microwave for 10 seconds and said.. " ahhhh nice.. carbs all gone" and then began to eat
hahahhah hey dude do you think raw pasta has carbs while re-heated pasta does not??
"what are we having for our diet, honey?"
"Well there's some left-over pasta, thank goodness for the microwave!"
lol *shrugs* i didn't know, but now i do. yo i love microwaves.
yea they are great at killing germs and bacteria and viruses. if you ever get a cut on your hand and it's infected.. stick your hand in the microwave for about 3 seconds.. and BAM no more infection
i guess kisses on the booboo don't work as good.
