by Ok, I've never been a massive fan of football, and honestly, I still don't understand about 90%....no, that's a lie....more like 95% of it. But for some reason, I've really gotten into rooting for the hometeam this year. The CINCINNATI BENGALS!!!!!! For the first time in a gazillion years, they are doing well. They haven't had a winning season since 1990/1991, and that was also the last time they won the Old AFC Central title.
And now they are in the Playoffs!!!!!! They just locked up their first ever AFC North title with their win against Detroit, and they are rockin' it out. Seriously, I was in 5th grade when they won the Superbowl, and that was HUUUUUGE for Cincinnati. Ever since then, the fan base has dwindled, but all of a sudden, this season, since they are kickin' booty and taking names, I have seen more Bengals fans come out of the woodwork than ever before. So GO BENGALS!!!!
And feel free to root for any other team you might be a fan of, in this thread. I'm not playing favorites.....it's all about the love here, kids. :)

Actually, I'm not terribly disappointed in their loss yesterday. It does suck that Carson Palmer was taken out in only the second play of the game, but it wasn't a TRULY dirty hit by the Steeler's player. If he wanted to hurt him badly enough, he could have done a lot worse.
I think it would be fantastic to see the Redskins in the Superbowl, however.
