really? wow why did you hate it? parking was fine, i parked free on the street a couple blocks down
parking was soooo expensive $25 and there werent even spots. I made up a spot all the way in the back. Also, the sound system really is bad. When they were talking it was soooo hard to hear.
yeah i heard that parking was really limited. maybe i was just fortunate, but i got there right before game time and i still plucked a spot on the street.
i've said it before and i'll say it again. Jagr's teeth getting knocked out was scary. Hockey players are tough. he wa scouring the ice for chips of his teeth!
ugh yeah i saw that. then he scored a goal. same thing happened last year or the year before, jagrs teeth were all over the place.

he's def a cool guy!! i've ahd the priv. to play roller and ice hockey with him, selanne and jari kuri w/manon rihon (sp?)in goal...i was in awe!!!

i used to work for mission hockey and the international sales manager was really good friends w/selanne and kuri (the fins stick together lol) and cullen used our gear so he was always in and we would have pick up games every friday morning so they would come out and play too.
I think the lack of comments in here explains why hockey gets no ratings. But I do like the game. Oh well. Rangers should be good in 07/08.

well dux basically have the same team as last season...we dont know about neidermeyer or selanne...but they still have pronger, beefed up defense w/schineder and they also signed bertuzzi. its def going to be a good season!
i'm pretty sure selanne and niedermayer are gone...my friend is a huge ducks fan, since the days when they were a disney movie...and he is really mad about schneider and bertuzzi signings.
i think selanne will be back. he's still got another good year in him...he's tasted the victory...he likes it.

bertuzzi is a thug, he has some odd dislike of schneider.

haha first they were the joke - sissies to be exact - of the league, now they're the goons? LOL i dont think so.
i kind of tend to agree with him in some way. bertuzzi is a punk, and on the downside of his career. i actually think that was a very bad move for them to take him on. he's just going to weigh them down.
pronger is a good player, my buddy just has a thing with him...he doesnt like his attitude. my friend's all about team chemistry and intangibles, and i have to admit, most of the time, he's right. not that pronger isn't good though.
and i gotta say, i really liked the ducks back in the days of 03 when they were a team of motivated, driven players who played as a team. the ducks today obviously have superior players; however, i feel much less inclined to pull for them.
aww well i must disagree...i beleive this year they had more heart and soul in this season than any other. i think its in part due to scott neidermeyers leadership.
i dont know how bertuzzi will be welcomed...but all players have their ups n downs, bertuzzi made a wrong choice in the mortifying check to naslund...he served his time. doesnt mean hes NOT a good player....heck hes been a 90+ pointer. i think w/the support of the team, and should neidermeyer return he can def take some lessons from him.
pronger is an enforcer....but thats what defense is all about. doesnt mean he's a bad player...heck when i learn to skate backwards better i want to be the enforcer of my team! LOL

The Devils are actually doing pretty well this season, I've only gotten to watch a couple games this season but all the ones I've seen they have played really well. It makes me wish I had more time to watch them.

On a side note Devils rocked the rangers in a shootout tonight. They have handed them 2 of their only 3 loses in shootouts. muahahahaha and totally helping to stop them from making the playoffs, I love it. lol :-D

I'm actually not as optimistic about the rangers as magazines seem to be. I love them, but still, I'm worried about them. They really tanked down the stretch last year, and Jagr is still hurting. While I love having Shanahan, we still need help.
i thought Jagr was set to return? shany's good but he's old now. Rangers got the addition of Matty Cullen, great in the face off and he's fresh off a stanley cup win!
yeah i really love the cullen addition. jagr is playing but he isnt at 100%, he even admitted it.
watching the opening game proved me wrong...jagr looked good on that goal. and now we're 2-0. i forgot how great the rangers were at working hard. they are the blue collar blueshirts, as my friend calls them...that's for sure. hopefully they won't tire out towards the end of the season. and they beat philly! yeah baby. and again tommorow.
ducks are doing their best ever. won opening night which was sweet cause it's always a battle with L.A. then they beat phoenix (didnt know roenick was back on the team)and they shut out St Louis last night....first time in franchise history have they won their first 2 games of the season, let alone a 3rd game shutout. this is def their season!

eesh. i'd like to forget about the flyers. i hate them, but i do have nittymaki on my fantasy team. he is not particularly benefiting from the high level of play from the broad street bullies. fortunately i have ryan miller and hasek too.
im REALLY looking forward to this season, the ducks beefed up their defense with the addition of chris pronger....and then with the finnish flash (my boy teemu) and the Neidermeyer bros...and TWO GREAT goalies...DEF #1 contenders to win the stanley cup!
