thefunkyfresh #7.1 thefunkyfreshFounder

it was a great moment when he won in 2001 and a great moment when he lost in 2008

thefunkyfresh #6 thefunkyfreshFounder

A lot of mine are the same as yours jp, I didn't put mine in order:

Eli hits Toomer for game winning TD vs Broncos in final seconds for 24-23 win - 2005

Eli completes comeback vs Eagles from 17 down in the 4th with TD pass to Plaxico to win 30-24 in OT

Scott Norwood misses 43 yarder, Giants win Superbowl XXV - 1991

Starks Dunks over Jordan - 1993

Knicks come back from 17 down and beat the Bucks (we were at the game) - 2008

Jamal Crawford turns it over, gets it back and hits game winning three pointer - 2007

Allan Houston's game winning shot against the Heat in the playoffs - 1999

Larry Johnson's 4 point play - 1999

RW McQuarters game sealing interception of Tony Romo in the divisional playoff round - 2007

Lawrence Tynes game winning field goal at Lambeau to send the Giants to the Super Bowl - 2008

Eli Manning to David Tyree - the helmet catch - 2008

Eli to Plaxico Burress - GIANTS WIN SUPER BOWL XLII!!! - 2008

Even though the knicks have been disappointing I still love them, and this was an amazing moment

jp #6.1.1 jpOG 2003

i remember watching a knicks game, i think they were playing phoenix. john starks hit a game winning 3. it was like 1997. i was going crazy haha that was a good memory

thefunkyfresh #6.1.2 thefunkyfreshFounder

haha... you gotta love gus johnson doing this call, he's so swept up in it

thefunkyfresh #6.2 thefunkyfreshFounder

when we were young my parents didn't have any TV channels, so Alex and I broke into our neighbor's house (they were away in florida) to watch the knicks playoff game vs. the pacers where LJ made the 4 point play. great memory

rocksupastar #6.2.1 rocksupastarFounder

was this the retard house?

thefunkyfresh #6.2.1.1 thefunkyfreshFounder

hahaha... no, the smiths...

shhhhhhhhh

rocksupastar rocksupastarFounder

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA wow, tisk tisk

thefunkyfresh #6.3 thefunkyfreshFounder

when plaxico caught the TD in the superbowl, that was definitely by far the most pumped up i've ever gotten about a sports moment. i was watching with some guys and we just started piling on each other and screaming. i lost my voice for 3 days after that!

rocksupastar #6.3.1 rocksupastarFounder

and THIS is what you call a "gay pyramid" kids....

brothermanOG 2004

Don't you have a house to break into? You're just jealous cuz I have bigger muscles than you. ;oP

jp #6.3.2 jpOG 2003

Yeah me too. that was the most crazy/exciting celebration ive ever been a part of. well, i guess being at the world series would compare. but i mean with a large group of friends.

jp #6.3.2.1 jpOG 2003

it was so crazy. evan probably had like 50-60 people at his house. we had the serious room with the plasma tv upstairs, then the casual viewers watching downstairs. we started with about 20 in the serious room, then more and more filtered in until it was packed. by the time plax caught the td, we were all piling on each other and all fell onto the couch, on top of evans dad and grandpa hahaha

thefunkyfresh thefunkyfreshFounder

hahaha... that's so weird

jp #5 jpOG 2003

superhero #4.1.2 superheroOG 2004

jp #4.1.2.1 jpOG 2003

ah, old x games footage. a bucky lasek sighting

socalgal #3 socalgalOG 2003

i have quite a few....for now...one would be the ducks winning the stanley cup and being at every game leading up to that moment!

another is the game that the rangers were playing the penguins and word got out that gretzky was retiring and i believe it was the last minutes of the 3rd period and the team just basically stopped playing and all the guys on the penguins were going up and hugging gretzky and shaking his hand, knowing that was going to be the last time they would ever play against gretzky. the song "my hero" was playing in the background. so awesome

socalgal #3.1 socalgalOG 2003

jp #3.2 jpOG 2003

yeah that was really nice. being a huge gretzky fan, that was fun to watch, even though the rangers lost

juicymango #2 juicymangoOG 2003

alright

1994 rangers - when they beat the Devils.. my sister and I were listening to this in the car, we were camping at the time and didn't have TV so we were sitting in the car listening and we almost DIED when we heard MATTEAU MATTEAU MATEAU!!!

Heh, if we were home, we would have seen this:

juicymango #2.1 juicymangoOG 2003

haha yeah i definitely still get chills watching that

jp #2.2 jpOG 2003

Love it! i had just become a rangers fan the year before. i remember, it was first grade, and everyone at my school liked hockey. i hadn't discovered its magic yet. but everyone was like, what team do you like? so i had to pick between the devils and rangers. it was no trouble, i liked all NY teams. then, the next year they won the cup. unfortunately, i couldnt see it with no tv at the time :( i wasnt a huge hockey fan then, my interest really took off in like 1995, when i was 10. started playing a lot of street hockey, watching like every rangers game, i used to know all the stats and stuff...

go rangers!

Watching Endy Chavez pull a homerun back in from the stands for an out in Game 7 of the 2006 NLCS was pretty amazing to me. Too bad Aaron Heilman sucks and lost the game and the Mets season after that...

B
#1.1 brothermanOG 2004

In no particular order... Sorry they're all baseball, cuz I don't really watch other sports.

Luis Gonzalez of the Diamondbacks hitting a bloop single off the immortal Mariano Rivera in the 2001 World Series to defeat the Yankees.

Curt Schilling pitching a stellar Game 6 of the 2004 ALCS with a sutured ankle and bloody sock, to tie the Yankees in the series in the worst collapse in the history of all sports. Yes, that even beats the Mets collapse last year since no team in all of sports has lost a series when up 3-0.

Robin Ventura of the Mets hitting a Grand Slam homerun to force a Game 6 against the Braves in the 1999 NLCS.

Mike Hampton pitches a complete game shutout against the Cardinals in game 5 of the 2000 NLCS to take the Mets to the World Series.

Dave Roberts steals second base for the Red Sox in game 5 of the 2004 ALCS in the bottom of the 9th inning to setup the winning run for the Sox. Bill Mueller comes up against Mariano Rivera and hits a single up the middle to win the game for the Sox, starting the comeback that will echo forever in all of sports to beat a team once up 3-0, 4 games to 3.

jp #1.1.1 jpOG 2003

Lotsa yankee hatin' going on there...how was that world series that mike hampton took you too, anyway?

B
#1.1.1.1 brothermanOG 2004

I think in this decade, there's Yankee hating going around the whole league. I actually thought it was cool that they won in 1996.

Yeah pretty sad when Bobby Jones had the only win by a starter. Haha... Valentine lost that series by keeping Leiter in too long in Game 5.

thefunkyfresh #1.2 thefunkyfreshFounder

that was an amazing catch by chavez
