I know this is late, but did anyone watch game 6? The cameras panned out and showed the fans in the arena. It looked like EVERYONE had a Flames jersey on, all you saw was RED with a few white jerseys in there. I couldn't beleive it, I've never seen so many fans so dedicated. Unless they gave away free jerseys, but it didn't look like cheap shirts they normally give out at games.

my dad never had boys (5 girls) so he'd play sports with us and take my sisters and i to sporting events. I just fell in luv with hockey. I had always wanted to play but never really had the time nor would my friends play. Besides the gear is SO expensive. Anyway, i got a job with Mission Hockey and they hooked me up with my gear threw me on a team and taught me how to play with the boys. once i was comfortable on rollers then they moved me to ice.

really? yeah the guys advised ice would flow if i learned on rollers. i already knew how to ice skate, but i think since rollers a bit moer challenging it was fitting.
Rollerblades weren't popular when I was learning how to play hockey. And then they were expensive. I had ice skates and the pond froze in the winter so it was easy to go play for nothing. Eventually I got the roller blades but those were used more for free style skating then hockey.
i'm jealous! i would love to have winters like that here (or even a 'winter' for that matter) to play ice hockey in the open air
Well ponds kind of suck though cause you don't get smooth ice like you will on a rink. But it's definetly a fun experiance.

There was no conclusive evidence to show the puck went over the line. ESPN did a nice mock up to show that the puck looked like it was on the line but it never crossed it, so the call was the right call.
the cup stays in the US once again... all i can say is GREAT. game 7 was amazing. the first goal was the best. richards ripped it right by the blue line and all fedotenko had to do was tap it in. one good thing i have to say about kiprusoff is that he made an outstanding save against lecavalier's breakaway. he practically did a split across the goalmouth to stop it. it was a great game
so it looks like the Lightning will be eliminated after tomorrow's game.... =( sad day for me and anderchuck
