by It's definitely weird when someone you knew very closely dies, especially if it is the first time u experienced the death of some one close. It's just wierd when you aunt who was a live and well the last time you saw is is now not aliv. Nad her family; he husband and son and the otehr children she cares for...what now for them? wierd, just defintiely weird. Never had anybody i know closet die. It's just strange.

Seriously, dude i hear you. My grandfather died like 4 years ago and i saw him at the meetings and usually once on the weekends. It was the weirdest thing knowing that he wouldn't be there for my wedding, etc.. It just goes to prove it's not something we were made to deal with...
same thing. i can't think of fishing or what will happen every summer without the thought of my grandfather and who will finish teaching me how to cut up fish or take me to eat monkey brains like he promised for when i turned 18? its a horrible thing but i look foward to the new system so we will be able to do them evuantally.
i don't know what it is like to have a grandfather. One of my grandpa's died from being shot and that was before i was born. my other grandpa died when i was a little tyke. so did my grandma. i only have 1 grandparent alive and thats my grandma. shes pretty cool. i don't think i will miss anybody ever taking me fishing seeing how i think it is the boringest thing in the world.
did you catch anything? i got bored when my line wouldn't move a bit. it's cool to see bass jump out of the water tho. they're pretty big
ya i could stuff but i don't find that fun. when my dad and his brothers go fishing they fish all day, literally. i might like it more if they would fish for maybe an hour but i hate it when they make me go fishing with them. i've seen fish jump and its pretty cool i guess.
fishing all day.. oh man. i see wat you mean. but just for an hour or 2, yeah that's fine. it may not be your thing. but some people live to fish and fish to live.
in the words of my great fisher grandfather and uncles, "the point of fishing is not to catch anything. if you think of it that way, you're gonna hate it."
then what is the point of fishing? just to relax and socialize? if that is the point there is no use in going. if you fish for the food, i guess thats a good reason but you can still buy it.
of course you can buy it. you can also watch sports on tv but you usually play them too. (incidentally you can watch fishing too.) its the experience. it teaches patience and you bond with the people around u.
