by my aunt came to visit a few days and left sunday back to tennessee. i noticed how things are really different in newark airport now. they're doing a good job with security now, but sometimes i think they over do it. my uncle couldn't even record my aunt saying bye to all of us there with his camcorder, the airport people said HEY NO CAMERAS! i remember when i was a wee little lad we could go to the gates and wait there for the boarding time and say our goodbye's there and watch the airplanes fly off, but now it's restricted. i miss playing tag there and eating in the restaurants. last time i been on a plane was back in 1988, and i don't really remember. but man, airports just aren't fun anymore.

I disagree. I just mentioned to katiedid today that I think the new Monorail at Newark is a lot of fun to play on. You just have to let yourself go and remember what it's like to be 5 years old and in an airport. It's the coolest! I think we're all a little unconciously tense being there, so just have fun! Yeahhhhhhhhhh!

i was always partial to those long conveyor belts for humans. when i was a kid i'd bolt down it and then get blasted onto the floor because of the momentum stop...whew, good times
