First Beach Day
by Yahoo! (A rather bad search engine) Today was the first official beach Monday of the season. What a beautiful day we had! Not a cloud in the sky, freezing cold water, and a lack of sun tan lotion so we are now all pink. I've never driven down to the beach for the day by myself until today, lots of fun! Got to eat some wonderful White Castle and become indignant about the false advertisement of rest stops (if they say they have a cinabun place..they should have one). I also learned how to play Rumi 500 for the 3rd time today..always a good experience. Now Malibu will be mad that I beat her to writing a journal about today..also good.
Anyone who would like to joy us in our summer ritual: We go to Island Beach State Park every Monday of the summer. We usually park ourselves at Beach 2 if it is open.

i love island beach. it has some of the clearest water in nj-sometimes
its a half an hour longer drive for us than pt. pleasant, but i think its so worth it. $6 per car instead of per person. and it doesn't smell.

Very close. See, it's a giant symbol for something. A girls arm, because it is shaped like Florida, is represented by the word Florida. Bras only come in the color white according to this symbol and because of that they are represented by snow. Snow is white most of the time. I guess if you're wearing a black bra that black snow on the side of the road is the stuff that florida is getting.
i think snow is kinda racist. i mean, why snow gotta be WHITE! and what do people say! oh, the snow is dirty now, shovel it into the sewers! just because it's BLACK!! and why do they put in the BLACK olives in the can! are they hiding them? The green olives get put in jars!

hahah we crashed with some friends anyway...YO they have THE BEST go-kart track in this town called Bayville...actually that's probably near where Brett lives? Not sure. The go-karts rule though. Now the British guys want to do go-karts. Closest place is in Parsippany, I think. Ty, Dean...saturday?? ehhh??
i stay at my aunts forever. she lives on the bay. she takes us out in her speedboat and on the waverunners. mmmm the luxury of having the summer off i miss it!
best go karts are in wildwood-the fast track. there were 7 go karts and 7 of us. we lined up and had the guy count down so we could race. it was brutal
this is a little far to drive for an afternoon, all the way to wildwood. sheesh. why aren't there any in NORTH jersey? ever since speedway closed. and that wasn't even that great. although its' a skatepark now. but i'm too old to go to that.

yeah too old for the skatepark....all the kids in there are 13..i'm 23...but opening a go-kart track would be a sweet idea, they are remote controlled, and the guys who direct everything can just cut the gas lines with the push of a button...hmm someone look on ebay for how much go-karts cost

you should take over some of the property that the self-storage people are taking. they're building about 4 of them near me. i didn't know we had such a need for them.

the go-karts in parsippany are so upsetting. $7 per ride and they're kinda slow. then on fridays its $15 for all sorts of rides but its always so crowded.

hahaha. i've never noticed that pt pleasant smells, but i don't go there much either. island beach is def worth the drive. and then you have the seaside boardwalk to hang out on after the beach. why is it the dirtier the beach, the more expensive it is to get on?
yeah and there you have to look at dirty people too? if you're going to seaside, swim at the clean place where you are not likely of seeing a fat girl in a thong.
practically impossible NOT to spot a fat girl in a thong-they seem to be the only ones that wear them. the bigger they are, the smaller the bathing suit. shouldn't there be laws...

It's exit 82 (I'm pretty sure) on the Parkway South. You're looking for Route 37 West which will then take you to 35 South. Go over a bridge and just follow the signs for first Seaside Park and then Island Beach State Park.

It takes us all about 1 1/2 to get there. It's worth it because it's so cheap and clean. We get there anytime between 10:30 and 12 right malibu? Leg's mom drives like a race car driver so they always get there first
well you are in the bronx, i'm sure there is a different way for you to take. but yeah, its a great time. lynz gets there at 12 b/c she doesn't get up until 9. the rest of us get there at 10. my mom has a large blue tent. its easy to spot us. lots of hot girls. and the jacked boys. (except when mike's there with his thong)

awww. the sawmill. my uncles both used to work there. i was never allowed to go. it was upsetting. then they took me there. wasn't too impressed. maybe now the new one. but i only went to that end of the beach because there was the huge log flume.
