There's no such thing as white people
I've been lied to all my life. There are no real white people anywhere. Theyre all gone. Allthat's left is fairy tales and urban legends of them. When I went to school in the valley all the "white" people were really Jewish or greek or "irish". When i went to NJ, all the peole where like italian and the like. I guess real white peopl are relagated to only the midwest now. And the south too, dont forget the south

WHAT!!! WHAT DO YOU MEAN I"M NOT WHITE!!!
yeah! me too! i'm white!
dan you're not white you're jewish!! (of course, i have the same problem *cough* i mean heritage, but we won't talk about that lol)
seriously we're not. we're kinda peach, or in the summer, taupe.
I'm confused. What do you have to be to be white? Like english or something?
well what i'm sayin is like white is just this general termtha doesnt define anybody. If you say that somebody is white it just gives you an idea of what color their skin is, but if you were to say somebody is Greek, for instance, you could immediatley get a picture o fwhat that persosn background and culture might involve.
like me! *cheesy smile* hehe
Doesn't the same apply to black then in a way? It doesn't define their background and culture because they could be from all over the world but just have that color skin.
ahh we dont got no culture
are you JOKIN?!?!?! how is that possible... everyone has a culture!!! How many musical styles today are linked back differnt cultures....
ywea i guess, but i guess we dont have a cultrue that'sso close to us. i dont really feel any connection at all with africa, it's not like its my home country. it's been quite a while since my peole came from way over there...
you do too.. remember that pimp with the pink hat and the feather thats our culture
that's true. i always think of how the jenkins say they're panamanian (cuz they are) and refuse to be black.
You're saying that being I'm Irish, I now hafta move to the "Valley" in Cali?? From what you're saying, I'm a minority, since I'm Irish and living in New Jersey, as opposed to Italian and living in New Jersey. Why don't I just up and move to Ireland? haha. hmmm.. I should actually. It'd be lovely, wouldn't it?
i don't know what the point of this is, but i don't think anyone is really truly white either. we're all mutts. and we're all part of the same happy compost heap!
CRAZY GO MUTTS! HAHAHHAH
BWAHAHAHAHAAAA, when's that mongoloid coming back?
people have told me all my life that i'm one of the whitest people they know, so i guess i've been lied to!
Seriuosly, Does it matter?
As Michael Jackson once said who used to be black but is now pale ale
"Doesn't matter if your black or white,, shamone"
you're right about that. just a bunch of tree hugging hippies .
one of my very good friends at school is often accussed of being a tree hugging hippie so for one school picture he was hugging a tree on the schools property.
it's amazing that I haven't commented on this one yet . . .
Why is that amazing?
I just LOVE talking about white people . . . except there aren't any . . . so I guess I'm either talking about nothing usually, or to myself . . . and now I'm confused . . .
Why do you just LOVe talking about white people..and why can I tell you're being sarcastic?
actually, they're my favorite people . . . you see, all growing up, I was "accused" of being white, so I figured, I may as well find out what these people are about since I'm evidently one anyway . . . and now that I find out there are NO white people . . . my whole identity is shaken . . . who am i? and what have I become? (btw, sarcasm is my middle name)
Accused is in quotes, who are you quoting?
myself, evidently . . . I think that's how I've always explained it to people . . . ever heard of an OREO? (and I'm not talking about the cookie - well, kind of, actually)
you mean black on the outside white on the inside right? i never understood it when people say this. you are who you are. there's no difference as to what you look like because you're not trying to be anybody else.
its like the name of the journal. there are no white people, there are no black or yellow. they're people.
very true indeed . . . i'm glad someone understands (besides me, of course)
yes, that is correct - and my defense was always exactly what you said . . . but alas, children can be so cruel . . . all the little urban children were just hateful 'cause I was smarter than all of them . . .
Oh is that why? Maybe they just didn't like you.
but i'm just so darn lovable that I KNOW that wasn't it . . . but I sure didn't like them too much . . . they all wanted to BE me, and they knew it . . . jealousy is NOT a pretty thing . . .
Yeah, as the most perfect girl in the world I understand that completely. Maybe they didn't like your abuse of the "..."
I believe that "..." (though I generally space mine) is called an ellipsis, and since I can't use it in normal writing, I tend to abuse it in my non-essential writing activities, such as email, IM, and now, of course, eZabel . . . it most accurately represents my process of incomplete thinking, being as though I have the attention span of a GNAT. Are you really that perfect? I'm intrigued . . . because, again, I thought I was the only perfect person in the world . . .
I used to abuse what you call the "ellipsis" as well and it takes a lot of restraint for me not to use it when writing for school. I think it is totally better then a comma and can bridge two sentence fragments together quite nicely. Yes, I am perfect.
I agree with you on the uses of the ellipsis - it is definitely more versatile than the comma. As far as the perfection goes, I'll have to be the judge of that myself, because there are not many who are able to achieve or trascend my level of perfectivity. (and YES I made that word up)
i always over-use the exclamation point. then i had to limit myself to one a paragraph. just too exciting.
And now for the Puerto Rican's viewpoint: This is exactly why Jehovah's organization rocks. I was raised in suburbia and for the most part I'm happy my mom chose Toms River over Queens, NY. HOWEVER, what bothered me growing up was that I wasn't white enough, black enough, or even puerto rican enough to be accepted into ANY of those "groups." But I must say, out of the 3, white people are the most accepting of me. For the sheer reason that I'm interesting because I'm different-they love my hair, my all-year-round tan, and my arroz con pollo!!! And I like being me, how many people can listen to Weezer, do the merengue and know all the lyrics to Ignition? Life is good...
I can do one of those three things, but I do it very well. Listen to Weezer.
Yea, I have to admit, I'm best @ listening to the Weez. Hey, when they go back on tour to promote the 5th album we should go! I've seen 'em 2x and it's not enough!
I'd totally be up for that!!! I saw them last year on the Enlightenment tour..simple bliss.
Awesome! We'll hook it up =Weerez= style..."Cheese smells so good, on a burnt piece of lamb!"
=w= I had that line stuck in my head all day the other day..it was nuts!
-you take your car to work, I'll take my board
Good lookin' out-I don't have a board...
Neither do I..but I wish I did cause surfing is one of the best things in the world!
hahahaha. that is the same with me. the year-round tan, my mom's cooking, dancing, weezer, and r.kelly. its weird cuz at school its always my one asian girlfriend, my irish girl with flaming red hair, and me black tan and long brown hair. people stare at us and i love it so much.
what's a white person?
exactly.
hey Cover Girl makeup just told me I'm natural beige, so I'm not white!
i love the descriptions of those things "have sunkissed lips by using this product" "honey glow skin" very picturesc.
