hi there i was wondering if anyone had any good place online that are cheep or free to download music . i heard that someone in ny got sued for downlaoding music so im lookinf for a site this does it legally please let me know thanks your sister in jersey by the shore. cathy

there is so site that lets you take others people music for free. because its not legal. you can go to buymusic.com because you pay for it and then its legal.

yeah, i belong to columbia house...and they have some pretty good deals...like buy one full priced cd, get 3 free....but you have to pay s/h, so it probably works out to like 6 bucks a cd.

It's not cheap, but it's legal, and I was chuffed to find that they have a fairly good selection. Your first 50 downloads or first 14 weeks are free...whichever comes first. And, then, if decide to keep the subscription, it's $9.99 a month, if you signed up for a year, or $15.00 a month, I think, if you signed up for 3 months.
