Lunch Mishaps

These are stories of my mishaps of lunch

So, it was my first day of work. Official work..like for a company. The company's name was MP Landscaping. I was going to work hard with some of my friends, and make my first hard-earned bucks.

All morning long I worked. I worked HARD. Landscapers start early in the morning. So it seemed like I was working for a long time. Later, for lunch I brought a pbj sandwich.

Finally, a couple minutes to relax, and joke around. I break out my lunch, when I see everyone else eating theirs, and eat my sandwich. MMM, it was great! I drank some of my water and we talked. Then it was back to work. (little did I know at this point that it was only 10:00am, and I had eaten my lunch wayyyyyyy too early, so when lunch came around, I'm hungry again, and completely foodless!) Imagine my surprise when our lunch break came around! I went the rest of the day w/o food. Maaaaan, if someone had only told me that the first break wasn't lunch, I would have been okay. At least I made a whole 50 bucks of hard cash.

In another story, while in my landscaping days, I got ready to eat my lunch. I ate all my grapes, while complaining they tasted weird...kinda like turpentine. Then I took one bite of my pbj (yes, pbj again!) and it tasted sooooooo nasty. Turns out a whole can of gasoline dumped into my food somehow. Was it sabotage?

Last story, folks. This one kid I worked with while landscaping was such a weirdo! He was eating apple jacks one time, and started pouring pool water into the bag so that they'd be soggy. YUCK, but things got worse. He jumps into the pool, and dumps his cereal into the pool around him and starts eating it out of "new giant bowl". Oh, man, I was so grossed out, but I was also cracking up. Great times. I miss those days.
