Office Policy
by There was a big meeting at my firm this afternoon. Only 3/4 of the employees attended. I was one of them. The other 1/4 was just let go.
I feel horrible. I was just hired less than 3 months ago, and people that have been here for over 5 years were fired! I wanted to say that I would go instead of them, because I feel like I'm usurping. God, what a weird afternoon. I can't believe they didn't fire me. In fact, they assured everyone at the meeting that they wouldn't be fired. Wow.
