peanut butter and karaoke

dear journal,

i went to NYC saturday night with a few friends. no agenda really. just to walk around and see where we'd end up. my sister and i met a couple friends and hopped a bus into the city. we were going to walk in central park, but it was dark already and no one was in the mood to get mugged so we skipped it. we hit a place called the Firehouse to eat. pretty good stuff. after that we met another friend and we went to meet five more in times square, but we found this place called Peanut Butter & Company and we stopped in. all right--this place is awesome. it has all different kinds of peanut butter and jelly sammiches. i had peanut butter and marmalade with white chocolate flakes and some skim milk! i won't even try to decribe how delicious it was. i also tried some of my friends peanut butter and fluff shake. another world. after that indulgence we went to meet the others.

the people i was with intially left and i ran off with the others i met to a place in Brooklyn called Rice Republic. AWESOME joint. it's this cool looking oriental place where you could do karaoke from your seat! the people i was with ate and i listened to all kinds of insane people belt out songs! it was wild. later me and my pal, jamie, did Lithium by Nirvana and then Wonderwall by Oasis. we got wicked with Lithium. the whole place was into it. too cool for words. i'm a hair away from making a whole Ezabel event to hit this place up. it's just rediculous fun! we had so much fun we didn't leave til like 2am and thru a chain of events that will never be detailed we didn't get home til 7am. surprisingly i didn't blink once at my meeting, because of the great talk and subsequent great Watchtower. i DID HOWEVER come home and completely cease to exist for a number of hours. anyway--good times. oh! and BRYAN CAN'T PLAY GUITAR.
