the ash
by I't been a really good week. We must've started a study at least everyday. It's going really good. Today was weird tho. When we went out it was very foggy/cloudy, and halfthe clpoud in the sky were a bluish-gray color, andthe other half of the clouds were a bronze-orange color. The two colors were split right down the middle of the sky. Then the wind kisked up, and what mustve been hunfreds of birds landed on the telephone wires above us. Then white and balck ash started to fall from the sky all around us. After about an hour, the wind kicked up again, the birds flew away, the ash stopped, and the clouds came back to a normal bluish-gray color. Right now there are like 3 or 4 forest fires burning in souther CA, and the santa ana winds with blow from near the mountains and all across socal were bringing the ash and smoke all the way into our area. Riught now outside the sky is still has a goldish unearthly glow. For a moment it was freaky becasue just the night before i had had a dream where it was the end of the world and the sky was almost exactly like it was today. Hah, go figure.

And..for a second I was gonna suggest that maybe a volcano exploded nearby and that's why it was raining ash, because I couldn't think of why it would be doing that, but I think your fire theory is pretty good.
