My Brush with Death
by Last night was the scariest night of my life. I was driving home from work and I stopped at a stop sign, and I was gonna make a right turn. I had my right blinker on and I came to a full stop. When it was clear, I made my turn. I was gathering up my speed (it was a 35 mph zone) and out of nowhere this jeep appears RIGHT in front of me on my side of the road, doing at least 45 mph!!!!! He slammed on his brakes and jerked his steering wheel SOOOO hard that they squealed, and Im pretty sure there are tire marks. I slammed on my brakes and jerked my wheel to the right, almost going on the curb and driving through a lot of leaves. Then as soon as the guy realized he wasnt gonna hit me, he started speeding again, and a second later was out of sight. It was only when I got home that I realized the guy didnt even have his lights on which was why I didnt see him! I was sooooo scared and I thought I was gonna die! But I didnt.

Cars can be horrible things. A wonderful loving brother that used to be in our cong. but had to move to (VA)due to financial difficulties got picked up for service on Thurday, and as they were driving to the group th car was broadsided on his side nd died the next day. He leaves a wife, 4 kids and a BUNCH of grandkids, one whom he was raising, poor kid.

whoa. see... i was gonna make a joke.. but then .. you mentioned a guy dying.. and leaving behind kids. thats so sad. i can't make a joke now... darn. but.. sorry. umm... lets look on the brighter side of things.. they still make ice cream.. and we all know how good ice cream is... neked.
