Nice Day Out

ekulu by ekulu · Dec 17, 2003 · 125 views · Journal

It's been a beautiful day. In the morning everything was clear witha cool refreshing breeze going through the air. Something about breezes like that just make me feel really clean. After that it got really hot, even thought it was getting cloudy. Later, around 4 oclock i got out of a study who's house was really cold, and walked out into the perfectly warm afternoon. The sun was low in the sky to the west, and thin clouds had gathered. It looked as if it shouldve been cool outside, but it was warm, like the warmth of a human body in a hug. That's literally how it felt walking outside. And in the distance to the northeast there ws the dark silhouette of the mountains against a pinkish sky, with whispy clouds spread everywhere. It was really georgeous today.

for a second...i thought you lived in NJ...and it didn't make sense, because today was rainy in ny and nj...isn't it funny how it can be a beautiful day in your world, and rain all day in ours?

You know, that's just not nice. Around 12 to 2 it snowed...again. Nasty big flakes of dandruff buzzing past my window. All of my patients said it was ok to drive in tho. However they failed to mention that it was gonna get super cold and the wet walks and roads would freeze. THEN since the police called me because neighbors called about my parents house being dark and unshovelled (I guess they thought they had all been killed) I went over and shovelled after work. Rock solid. It was so icy that I would walk up the drive and go nowhere cuz I'd slide right back down. And you talk about beautiful weather??? Give me your address, I'm coming over.

i delivered packages in "mixed precip." we had the additional duty of bagging all of the boxes. it was slick and wet but didn't fall down once or slip and bust my shins on the steps of the truck. the consumers got their brown boxes and i wasn't injured. all is well.

I liked the imagery... there are definately days when you realize how beautiful it all is around you and how amazing it is to be alive. Its good to have moments of clarity like that. It helps a lot.

Was that a joke? Meteorology is weather, Astronomy is space.

I was thinking about that..but I didn't want to sound silly if I was wrong.

In 11th grade I had a blonde barbie looking Chemistry teacher. She was trying to convince me to take Physics but I didn't want to. She knew I was a science geek and asked what I wanted to go to college for. At the time, I wanted to be a meteorologist (not the TV kind, the actual researchers-mainly tornados). And she said, "Well if you want to study meteors, you will need to take physics. Astronauts need to take all the science classes." I left the room wondering how she made it through college.

did you touch her? i love hot teachers. one of the main reasons i went to school. though my chemistry teacher wasn't hot. her daughter was cute though. i'd piss her off so much by constantly talking about her daughter alley when she's trying to teach the periodic table .
" lets discuss gaseous and hot element of HYDROGEN "... " speaking of Hot and smokin'... thats exactly what i'd call alley. hot and smokn' "...

Being a female myself, I was never attracted to my female teachers. Let alone want to touch them.

We did have one hot Bio teacher tho. Mr Billman. Whoa big time dreamy. He was the soccer coach too. He comes to the dentist I work for. I hope I get to clean his teeth sometime.
