So I did it, I watched the first two Lord of the Rings movies!! Sorry, I like birds there were no massages - I would've called. And I didn't serve any chicken or beef tacos.

But the movies were AWESOME! Oh my goodness I think I am totally obsessed by the movies. The cinematography was insanely great and I now have a raging crush on legalus!

Allrighty hope all is well - just wanted to share...

love me

I am with you on the Legolas thing. If the movies were horrible I would still watch because Orlando Bloom is extremely nice to look at.

yes yes... he is easy to watch and honestly so the other swordsman - Aromas - I think is how you spell his name... oh yeah.

If you mean Aragorn you are most definitely correct. The first time I saw LOTR I was totally disinterested...but I managed to stay in the game for Aragorn and Legolas. For Two Towers I squealed like a school girl when they appeared on screen. The actor who plays Aragorn just isn't as delicious in real person without the hair. Legolas is just as yummy.

Yeah, real life..Aargorn just looks like someone's dad. Actually, I think he's hottest in Fellowship with his dirty Ranger look. In ROTK his face got kind of fuller.

when we went to see the movie there was a row of like 10 year old girls who would clap and scream everytime aragorn came on the screen. so my mom says, "tell them that he's 45 and doesn't want them, he wants me."

make that 3 more of us Orlando fans, me and my 2 girls.
I had to ask my brother if he (legolas) eventually gets killed (this was before I saw movie #2 and read books 1 and 3) b/c I couldn't stand to watch it. He lives ;). Pathetic, huh>?

how can anyone honestly sit there.. and not say that movie wasn't the longest waste of time ever. i mean it wasn't a BAD MOVIE. but sheesh. so many love stories.. i didn't know who to root for..
frodo and saaaaam
mary and pippy long stocking
legolas and the dwarf
aragon and arrawen..

why do you think they show sam wise married and with a kid at the end. because through the whole movie.. he was portrayed as frodo's lover.. and at the end they just wanted to clear it up. why else was it neccessary to show him married and with a kid. that ending was so terribly wrong. sauron is dead . ok. END MOVIE.

violetboregaurd #3.1 violetboregaurdOG 2003

well thanks for the ending - i didn't say i SAW the third one yet. Now my night of watching is for nothing... sniff sniff...

Just kidding - yeah there were some homo-hobbit overtones, but they were mates, friends - conFIdants... lol

ballyhoo #3.2 ballyhooOG 2001

It didnt end there when Sauron died because thats not how the book ended. Theres still a lot more to it after Sauron is defeated. Read the books, you may appreciate it more. Even if you didnt read the books, I dont see how you could say it was a waste of time. Its such a milestone in movie-making.

violetboregaurd #3.2.1 violetboregaurdOG 2003

yeah i read the books when i was younger and didn't like them to much - BUT I think the movies are fantastic journeys into movie making.

I gotta see the third one... lol.

beachbum #3.3 beachbumOG 2002
