A Day In Pennsylvania
i got up pretty early this morning. me, my family, and three studies (3 good kids who study with the couple) were invited by a couple in my cong (i luv them!) to go see the husband's best friend (Edwin) give his first symposium. (hope that made sense.) anywho, the ride there was quiet but when we got into PA territory, it was pretty cool, kinda like country type. and the meeting at the East Stroudsburg cong was very nice! the attendance was like 160! it was a very mixed crowd, i liked it.
after the meetings we went over to Ruby Tuesday's. the roads were in the mountains so they were all like very curvey and narrow. we got there and it was a nice lunch. afterward, we went to Edwin's house and man! if i tried gettin to his house i would be so lost. and his house was huuuuuuge! Edwin setup a room where he's got 4 computers networked and we played star wars academy! we had a great time. his family and friends are very nice too. then we had to leave around 7pm... i didn't really wanna leave. it's not cuz of the video games, it's not cuz of the nice big house. it's just cuz i felt genuinely happy there. i like seeing new sites and and i like making more friends. i'll just have to wait and see wat 2004 has in store for me.

There was a family in my hall 4 years back that went to that congregation(i think). They have moved since. I think that must be a fairly wealthy area, because this family was kind of rich. You should ask your friends if they knew the Forsyth's. I know that the girls name was Stacey. She rocked.
thats awesome. Yeah there is something really content about PA. I don't know exactly what it is - but its there. The friends are very nice... not metro city nice, but nice. It has totally surprised me how much PA fits, I never thought it would.

Pennsylvania rocks. I'm from there originally, so I'm partial, but I still enjoy visiting the area. Glad to hear you had a good time.
