Only a Paperclip is REALLY needed
by Ok so the search for a wallet continued...I posted on here yesterday what I was looking for, and Mr. Moneybags (Ian) suggested some sort of money clip...found some decent ones online but nothing amazing. The goal is something SMALL (the George Costanza look is LAME) and black. Leather.
Anyway, I come home last night and my mom is like ... what do YOU want to talk about...(b/c I never talk at home, Alyssa will confirm this statement) and I talk about how I'm trying to find a decent wallet for like 10 minutes...I'm sure my mom was appropriately bored. So I get up to start cleaning the kitchen and she says "oh, I almost forgot, I got you something today!" and she pulls out a box with a brand new leather wallet that is INCREDIBLY small. You have no idea....SOOO impressed. WOW.
This kind of takes me back to when I was 11, and my family and some of my relatives went on vacation in the Poconos to a resort. My cousin and I (who were about the same age) spent the day playing basketball, while our moms went shopping. When they got back, his mom came up to us, and was like..."look Jason, I got you a present!" and pulled out a brand-new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for GameBoy. He ran inside to play it.
I followed him in...hoping...that my mom would think along the same lines as my aunt, maybe she bought me the same video game so Jason and I could play against each other, or maybe she got me some other Game Boy game, that would have been ok.
So I go inside and she says "oh! Daniel! I got you something!" and pulls out...are you ready...no, you're not ready for this...a LIGHT SWITCH COVER. I was like.... "what the HECK is that?" and she said "it has baseballs! you love baseballs!" (I was possibly the world's most unathletic kid, at this point in my life.) I took the light switch cover, and stared at it while my cousin played GameBoy. Good times.
The point of this story is that getting a really awesome wallet was good. And it helped make a crappy day better. And it ALMOST made up for the fact that I got a light switch cover instead of a Game Boy game.

i am so on this bandwagon. i wanna find a really small cute girls's wallet. not leather though. i saw this one i liked at pacsun but it was really long and the point is for it to fit in my pocket.
