That could not be further from the truth.
We do not even find it amusing that some has chosen to defame our name, and we also find it highly inappropriate.
I just wanted to clarify this for everyone, and if you didn't know, now you do.

i totally support this journal... i don't think its right that some one is able to make a user name that offends some one else... i think that we all know how to take a joke, but since some one actully from the band is saying that they find it inappropriate, it is obviously not funny... if i were to make a user name saying "ian zabel sucks" and meant it to be not joking, i would be banned... so how is this any different?

I don't care if people don't like my music, that's fine. But making a user name called saying my band sucks for all to see is something else. I have a sense of humor, believe me - otherwise I wouldn't be a very good playground. But there are things you do, and things you don't.

actually if you check in one of the times i posted something about the walk home... someone said "that his music makes them want to shoot themselves" which... i said something like... we all have opinion but...thats mean.. i didnt tell them to take their comment out. so youre not so sure anymore.

That's kinda what we're debating here.
See, the problem is a little something called the 1st Ammendment. Free Speech. Guilderbellsuck certainly has the right to say whatever he wants. That's just a part of life. He can go around saying that your band sucks all he wants, and there's nothing you can do about it. Cause it's his opinion. And he has the right to express it.
Now, whether or not I want that opinion expressed on my website is an entirely different matter, especially when viewed from a Christian's perspective.

RIGHT ON IAN! That's just one person's opinion. You can't change that nor take offense. That doesn't mean EVERYONE thinks that. Take it lightly. Its like us being witnesses. So many hate us, call us mames, but that's their opinion. Does that mean we are what they call us? NOOO. Take it as a grain of salt. Actually your bands name is being seen more and more when this person logs on so it's actually giving you a little publicity and maybe making some curious to check yu out. Like i'm curious...

if you are upset b/c this person is misrepresenting the band, i can understand. he says some pretty inappropriate things and i wouldn't want those things to be associated w/ my band or bandmates, esp since some people thought that it was one of them behind the name.
