anyways me and some friends we got a deal on skybox seats at MSG the other night. Totally awesome up there. Not the first time I have been up there. But hey lots of free dinner food, unlimited beer, beverages, wines, liquor and then some desert and the view is really good. I also appreciate having a personal bathroom that is ultra clean and luxurious. The place comes with its own bar stools to sit and watch the game, a lounge to sit and chill and maybe watch something on television. The refrigerators, ice machines, dinner trays and sinks are all just very very luxurious. Like me and my friends could care less about the Knicks beating the Sonics. We just were happy to have our own VIP room to chill basically. The only thing I would do to change it is add some other things like a shower, some towels and some less fattening food. Haha I have to admit it was a lot of fun watching Spike Lee on the sidelines being an ultra hardcore Knick fan. It would have been cool to see Marv Albert take a bite out of crime. As far as performance goes, there was no disappointment out of Stefan Marbury, Dikembe Mutumbo or Keith Van Horn. The Sonics just had nothing going for them. Oh well maybe next time. Hopefully next time I go up in the Skybox its to see the Rangers or a concert. I am real disappointed in the Rangers for trading my favorite player to the Bruins (SANDY McCARTHY). The guy was just fun to watch. He would get into a fight every game and never lose. Well maybe I can look forward to a few Lindros or Messier fights this season. Anyways I think I am gonna go run. Break Windows!

Yeah, I was a spoiled child. We used to go see all the Disney on Ice Shows at Continental Arena and the circus and anything else fun for little kids there, and I never once sat in the real seats. I've always sat in the sky boxes with the food, and the kitchenette, and the bathroom. In 6th grade I went to a hockey game with my school..and we sat in the real seats. What a rude awakening.
I've never been in a skybox, but I would probably prefer the real seats. Closer to the action, and I always feel more into it. I imagine that the skybox is like being at home, watching the game on TV. I wanna be able to go crazy when the Rangers or Knicks score, hear the fans going crazy, and most of all get a good view! How is the view from the skybox, isnt it hard to see from way up there? I've sat in nosebleeds but paying 15 bucks for nosebleeds is worth it instead of the big bucks people shell out for boxes...i imagine it would be really cool to watch from a skybox a few times, but, i admit, i guess i'd rather be in the regular seats :)
Well let me think about skybox seats. Like its not bad for Knicks or Rangers. You can see lots of the action. However the last Rangers game I went to was 150 dollars just to get a seat 2 rows behind the goal net. Now nothing can compare to being up that close. I had the privilege of banging on the glass when a fight broke out. However one of my old high school teachers really likes me and he just gives me tickets whenever I ask being hes got season tickets. Now I have sat in skybox for concerts and the music sounds great but gosh I hate everything about concert tickets. Like if you have to stand the whole time it sucks. Unless you are like right by the stage. Unless you have a worldly girl who has her "ways" of getting there or someone else than no problem. My friend used to be awesome at getting to the front of the line so it made my work very easy. In the sense that I know I can only get nosebleeds to something I would rather just pick skybox. I do have some good news. I found a place in Shea Stadium for ball games where you pay 20 dollars to sit behind homeplate. So that rules.
I love hitting the sky box suites. Everythings free and you can network yourself out to the ones in the neighboring boxes. We do that for the Lakers and Kings games, therefore receiving more "invites"
