This is quite a place...

Ok, so at work, my boss starts a conversation with me on Monday by saying "you know you're coming with us tomorrow, right? You'll be back on Thursday night. Pack some clothes."

What he REALLY meant was - "you're going to drive yourself up to Monhegan Sun in Connecticut for a convention. This will be on the company. Heck, we'll even pay for you to have Wifi access every day. Make sure you get some good business cards and check your email."

The good times have commenced. This place is HUUUUUUUUGE. I'd never even heard of it before. It has a mall inside, a Michael Jordan's steakhouse, a 40 floor hotel, a few spas, a convention center, oh, and a casino.

****GEEK SECTION****The internet is $10/day, through the wireless lan. I've almost finished downloading last night's 24 (since I missed it). I've done a lot of work though. Really. I promise.******

Anyway, here's what I was thinking about - how would you guys propose saying to your boss - "I would like to make more money, and work 4 days per week"?

Well, I like Punk Princess' quote... I'm gonna quit my job tomorrow. Too much CRAP to put up with!

First put all your stuff from your desk in a box - then say a prayer - tell your boss
"I would like to make more money, and work 4 days per week"?

One of two things will happen - you will get what you are asking, raise and all OR you will already have all your stuff packed when the boss asks you to leave... lol

I don't know, but I hope it all works for the best.

Pray and then bite the bullet.... explain why you want to cut back and also why you need more money. and if they dont like it, then you quit!
