Snowboarding
This weekend was spent in the poconos Snowboarding, and the weather was awesome, and conditions werent bad, the parks, eesh, needed work, but it was still fun!
This was my second year up to the poconos, no wait 3rd..
Shawnee has got to be the smallest mountain with the price of a bigger mountain. Still was fun for like an hour.
Camelbak was nice, it usually is i have found, it was windy on a few of the trails which made it rough , but for the most part it was good riding.
Now I am a pretty descant rider, and was better like 2 yrs ago, I certainly have control of my board, I hardley ever fall anymore, so I dont get hurt anymore, unless im tryin new tricks,so its nice. HOWEVER this weekend, i got taken out by 2 other people, a snowboarder and a skier, the snowboarder must have been around 13 and just PLOWS into me, and we tumble, it didnt hurt was kinda fun and he said he was sorry, so i didnt mind it so much, BUT THE SKIER,, he just came out of no where, plowed me, his ski hit my leg, which is now bruised, and never said a oops my fault or sorry! I was so annoyed, i wanted to chuck his ski down the mountain! I dont like skiers to begin with, for one, they go back and forth, fast then slow, ride over your board, UGH, they are annoying.and it seems like they are less friendler then your average snowboarder.
SO I was thinking how nice it would be if they designated trails to certain people,, Like have a snowboarder trail, and a skiers trail, waaaayyyyyy on the other side. and a beginners trail for people who are just learning snowboarding or skiing, let them hit each other instead of plowing into somebody that is going full speed down the mountain and blind siding them.
but alas, it will never happen!

I thought they had snowboard parks for the snowboarders? Skiers need to be pushed down the mountain!

i went snowboarding for the first time this year...it was sooooo much fun. only thing was, my friend taught me how to kinda turn and balance, so i was flying down the hill but i didnt kno how to stop so yea...umm....got a nice concussion cause of that but it was def worth it.
lol sweeeet
i have no desire to ever snowboard...
i didnt either,so many people in my hall go but i always declined their offers. Hope-the other asian sensation (ty is the 1st one) , he got me to go with him...it was definetly worth it. kinda alotta $$$ though, so i prob wont go again for a while
hope is no form of asian sensation. he's more of an "odd dressing" asian. i mean, sweaters and suits?
true...BUT...hes asian AND tall...AND he can jump...AND he can play ball. i too have questioned the corduroy jackets and khaki pants, but you just gotta learn to look past em
I have gone once and I have no desire to ever go again.
my first day snowboarding this 13 year old boy slammed into my head with his board so hard. i had fell and was about to get up and he comes outta nowhere. he's like, "well i tried to stop." clearly ya didn;t. but he felt really bad so i forgave him.
i would love to see you throw it down with a skier. break his ski over your knee!
look all you have to do is curl these last 20 lbs of weights and your arms would be ripped. come on.. do it. do it. afterwards we can go get some protein shakes and after that.. lets see what happens.. maybe a shower? ...
this sounds like a snowboarding nazi's solecistical manifesto.
