Today was an interesting day. It started with early morning streetwork, then door2door till 12 in the snow. Then I came home and went online and helped us all try to get 1,000 musings in a day, but to no avail. Either way I learned alot about ezabel today.

I was watching the History Channel's Modern Marvels and i began to think to myself....How come they sterilize the needles for lethal injections? And did Hitler think he looked pretty with his mustache? Nonetheless, innocent lives are at stake and its up to us to help them. In the movie, "Be Like Mike", Lil Bow Wow wanted to be like Michael Jordan, and one day he found Michael's old sneakers lying around, and he put them on and became as good as Michael. Do you see how that ties in here? IF we reach down deep inside our souls, we all have a little michael jordan Converse sneaker in us...we just have to get to know it on a more personal level. Right? I hope so. Cause that sure is how I feel.

have you been watching the news programs on this. absolutely hilarious. my dad was talking about this one couple-he's jewish, she's catholic and supposedly an expert on the Bible. they watched a prescreening of the movie and she was like i can't believe people were spitting on him-THAT isn't in the Bible, i can't believe they stabbed him with a spear-THAT isn't in the Bible.

i bet you can look into history and find a reason for hating any nationality. (Ie: the jews, the germans, what about england for sucking the marrow out of the american colonies? or what about americans for mistreating the natives?) I'm a really big fan of Japan and as a Junior in High School I mentioned that once in History class. All these boys started freakin out and yelling at me and getting really angry. They all hate Japan because of what the Japanese did to American soldiers in WWII and I told them that was the dumbest thing and if they were going to feel that way then I was going to decide to hate the British for coming to America during the Revolutionary war and killing Americans.
that is retarded. Japan is still paying for it anyway, so it's not like they aren't being punished, haha, although their punishment has done wonders for their economy.
and not to mention, millions of them were killed/affected by the two atom bombs we dropped. They don't show THAT in "Pearl Harbor"
we were just talking about this in my history class. the fact of the atomic bomb. u.s. being the only country to EVER use an atomic bomb. the fact was that out of how everyone thinks hiroshima was a military base: our of 155,000 people there were only 41,000 military people there. and that's not even where the bombers dropped the bomb. they dropped it in the middle of civillian downtown area. and the fact that there were 3 other very viable options to stopping the war without dropping the bomb. but they just didn't wanna wait or accept any surrender that wasn't unconditional so truman just did what his corrupt counsel told him to do.
Well, you could also argue that it stopped the war with a minimum of casualties, albeit civilian casualties. A full-on invasion of Japan by U.S. forces would very likely have caused much more loss of life than the bombs did.

yeah but the point was that we weren't going or planning to invade japan. we say that now but the truth was they were ready to surrender. they said in tons of "secret" diplomatic messages (we cracked their codes) they had no airforce, navy, and deplted militia. russia was a week away from beginning to fight them like they promised they would in the meeting in Iran. the japs also already said they would surrender as long as we assured them that their emperor would not be hurt since he's their god. there was one other resaon too of why if we had waited a few more days the war would have stopped by itself.
have you heard about this new chain of japense thats going on? apparently now china is threatening them with bombs so they're going to form a human chain of protest across 119 miles (i remmber it was over 100 miles but i can't remember how many) across japan in protest. does this make sense?
