i'm usually pretty anal with punctuations, but on here it's like a different world, like it doesn't matter as much. I guess its because i'm doing work also so it's a "quick" comment (response) and no proof-reading.

I wasn't such a great english student in highschool so I at times, probably more often then not, say things improperly. But I think you can always get the gist of what I was saying. I think that's what matters.
But I agree, I can't stand when you have to keep reading something over just to decipher what they were saying.
Yea I'm not anal or anything, BUT seriously words spelled incorrectly make me itch. I can't handle it, I have to spell correctly, I've always been able to and I think that I have some kind of ability to spell insane words I have never even read half the time - same goes for punctuation as well... total weird ability... eh.
Haha, sometimes I run news posts for the homepage through a spellchecker and fix them up before I approve them cause it bothers me so much.

Forget punctuation... What annoys me most on this site is when an individual says something and it makes absolutley no sense.

It really annoys me when the English language is not used properly in public speaking.
Personally I always seem to have trouble figuring out where to put commas, I know where periods and such go but the commas just baffle me sometimes.

since we are on the subject of things that tick us off. Noise ticks me off. Let me show you some examples:
My dad talks loud.
In the morning because he talks a lot AND really loud. Night time can be pretty bad, too, though, because he makes his gum snap or crack really loud.
My dad hates the sound of peoplem chewing gum. Growing up we weren't even aloud to chew gum it bothered him so much.

soup slurping is definitely worse than the whole punctuation thing. That and sniffing continuously. I always seem to sit next to a person who is doing this while i'm trying to take a test.
i hate it when people have the ketchup turned the wrong way.
you know those ketchups that have the special flat squeeze part at the top so that you don't have to wait for it all the come out? my lil sisters always turn it the wrong way on purpose. it annoys me to no end. it's made specially so that you won't have to wait for it, why do you make it difficult???? i was even at a restaurant and at all the booths it was upside down. so frustrating!

no. we dont' have this at my job. it's just all these diners and stuff. you have them to make the customers ketchup to come out easier and then you let it sit the wrong way so it is just as difficult as regular ketchup when it doesn't have to be. how annoying is that?? don't tell me it don't bug you.
Okay..this bugs me SO much too! People kept doing it at dinner the other night and I kept fixing it!
