Ben Sheets #3

You know, some days you have really interesting experiences at work. Today was perhaps the most interesting. This coworker who I don't always see eye to eye with was talking about Ronald Reagan's death. He is pretty upset being he grew up in the 80's and Reagan was someone he believed in. However he asked me about the up coming election and I told him I was not going to vote for any man but that I believed God was the solution. For some reason he lightened up a lot. It was as if he had some new respect for me or something. Him and me continued to discuss the issue of religion and politics and why i wont get involved and I think it impressed on him that I would not go to war. Hopefully him and me can have more meaningful discussions such as this one. I felt really good telling him I was a witness. It seemed to open some new doors that were not there before. I notice that when witnessing at work it is usually best to witness individually that ways a crowd cannot gang up on you in an issue which has not happened yet. But the fact that I have told a couple of workers has really seemed to make them treat me nicer. Anyways.
