Until Forever...

And ever...my darling.

YES..another engagement story..;) (sorry to take away from your journal Tina..but we did get engaged a day apart from eachother).

So...it all started Saturday, July 3rd. Austin and I were at the convention all day. During lunch we chatted with people figuring out what we were gonna do that night. Little did I know there were other events to take place. That night, Austin, Tina, Adam and I went to dinner. Austin mentioned that he'd like to stop by the Chateau Briand (our reception hall) because he'd never seen it at night. So I thought nothing of it. Our banquet manager led us to the restaurant part of the facility where we were waiting by the bar until she was ready to show us around. There was a band playing..when all of a sudden the band stopped and the singer said "Would Austin and Jahanna please come down to the dance floor". I immediatly put my hands to my face in shock because I had no idea it was going to be then. (Austin, Tina and Deanna had me completely convinced that he was going to propose the following weekend, and I was upset because I thought I figured it out!) So the two of us walked down to the dance floor in the center of the room filled with people. He pulled a rose out of his suit jacket pocket and handed it to me. Then he got down on one knee and proposed and put a beautiful ring on my finger. Of course I was crying and said yes! So then everyone cheered for us and the singer sang us a song and we danced and kissed for the first time as an engaged couple. It was completely wonderful!
