The days go by but the story doesn't change
and my only true friends are this pen and page
the only ones to understand why I just can't move on
the only ones who will listen hard

i guess I've fallen hard for you
it wasn't hard to do
but i've done this hurt to myself.
only you can ease my pain
which is why i will hurt forever.
every day i wake up and i hurt,
i make myself hurt

because i keep stealing those glances,
i won't stop looking
i won't stop dreaming
i won't stop trying
i won't stop dying

i've given it a weak attempt
i can't commit to my heart or to my mind
so i'll just wallow here in the middle
one kiss could ease my pain
but then i'd need one every day

i've fallen hard for you.

this is something i wrote yesterday, but it's funny how in 24 hours you're entire outlook can change. I feel almost the opposite of this right now
