"I like the way you dance"

We didn't actually get to the show until 9 o'clock, not like it really mattered because the Bandits of Pharmecutical Persuasion did not start playing until 10:30. This gave us-Julia, my sister Samantha and I-plenty of time to score a spot at the front of the Knitting Factory. Let me now comment that I love the Knitting Factory: free water, best cooling system ever, super small! We got to see the entire set The Exit played. I really enjoyed them. The bass player was super skinny and very indy looking. He danced really amazing-like so when it got quiet when he was tuning his bass I told him that I liked the way he danced. Being that I was just one person from the stage-maybe 5 feet from him at the most-he heard me. He got all bashful and I felt kind of bad until some boy shouted out "I like the way you dance too!" Liar! But its okay because it just prompted him to shake his non-existant butt some more. I plan on marrying him.

Let me just get this out of the way now- I plan on marrying all of the Rx Bandits. Yes, every single one of them. Or at least propose marriage to them. I informed one of their girlfriends of this after the show but that's later and this is before. The Bandits played an A-mazing! set. They played for an hour and a half of pure bliss. A few songs in the two people infront of me moved allowing me to score a spot along the stage, about a foot away from the lead singers foot. I was tempted to grab it but I realized I didn't know what to do after I grabbed it so I just didn't. There was lots of eye contact to be made with the lead singer as they jammed through all of The Resignation CD and most of Progress. The lead singer may be just a very tall skinny white boy with a curly fro but he can move his sweat covered body in crazy ways. Also, it was very enjoyable (ugh) to get sprayed with sweat every time he shook his head and got really into a song.

I also must note that I am very attracted to the Bandit's trombone player..he danced with his instrument and it was just so funny and great. After the show we were hanging about buying shirts and stuff. The girl selling everything was on of the Bandit's girlfriends and she lent us her sharpy marker to get two of them to sign our shirts for us. They were really sweet. I will not stop until I have proclaimed my love for one of them!

Also- why did it take us so long to get into the city? We parked in Hoboken to take the Path. We're almost at the station when I had to direct us back four blocks to the car because that's where I had left my tickets. Good times. On the way home, looking hott all covered in sweat and grossness, Julie got the number of the hottest cluber on the subway (he was so rotund!). Okay, I'm about out of time.

wow. i kept seeing "scoring pot" but thats not what you meant at all. the bandits are dope. did the trombone player spit water into the air? i love when he does that.

he did not spit water but he was gorgeous and could dance in ways that defy the mind. and his instrument was also a prop. but he did play the bongo drums nsync with the drummer and to see THAT was awesome.

are you kidding me? all night we were calling shotsies on him. i told her i win b/c i let her have the pick of the boys on the train b4 they got all rude to us.

but like lynz said we were right there and you could totally tell when he was looking at us and i felt so horrible when everyone else would be singing and i didn't know the words. so i can apologize, get him to sign my shirt, and then marriage. but if he's picky we don't have to follow that order.
