Good Things Around the Corner

hey guys, how's it going? it's been a while since i last wrote here, and there's so much to write, but i'll just briefly write some major things. since graduation, so many things have been happening. my life has had more depressions than good times. i talked to an older sister about some things that have been making me sad. talking with her was like beginning to see a beam of light and from then on, it kept getting brighter and brighter. she said to me "don't worry, peter. good things are around the corner."

graduation came, then college soon right after in july, which kinda swept me off my feet - i applied, took the placement test, and got accepted all in a few hours in one day. i go to Raritan Valley Community College, and man, i like it better than high school. the summer semester i took English I, and i passed with an A with a teacher who is "not an easy grader," my 2 EOF counselors told me. they said "we expect good things to come from you." that made me happy. currently i'm in the fall semester taking Art of the Film, Computer Literacy, English II, and Precalculus II.

i remember SkaorSk8 telling to me that good times can be spent within a walking distance from my house. i found that so true, and i finally have a group of friends nearby. i rarely feel lonely or depressed anymore. and it's so weird how they sometimes even look to me as a leader now, like they always ask me where are we going to eat or wat should we do. it feels strange, but i'm not complaining, it's nice to know when you have people feeling that way about you. but leader or not, i look at them on the same level, if not more closer than others.

the same sister who i talked to hooked me up with a great job. i work at a doctor's office and i'm making good money. i just work part time tho. it's a great environment, and sometimes pharmeceutical reps come in and give us free food! i'm the only guy there, besides the guy doctor (there's also a lady doctor), so sometimes i can't be listening in certain conversations, but i'm ok with that. after i finished my summer semester, i started working here full time, and they really liked having me around, i've been a great help. but now i only come in for 2 days, and they said they miss having me around.

i dunno if you guys remember, but my circuit finally organized the territories and stuff, so a lot of families have moved to other congregations. it feels weird being where i am now. i haven't made any new friends yet. but i still see one sister that really makes me laugh so that's good. it'll take some time to adjust.

man i've just been so busy now. and lately, i've been having a deeper appreciation for Jehovah and Jesus Christ. i really admire Jesus for his example and how he dealt with others, how he was willing to help people and willing to go out of his way for others. he's so awesome and i try hard to be just like him. Jehovah has blessed me so much, and i'm not sure wat i'm doing to deserve all these things, but i must be doing something good, so i'm gonna keep on doing good!
