Why did I turn and leave?
I wanted to kick in the door
Leaves of trees around your house

A cup of tea would be bliss

Snowflakes have shrouded your house
It’s Glistening in the sun
Dreams of snow play in your yard

getting snowed in with friends is so fun - for the first day. the second day is boring and by the third day im scrubbing the floor hoping no one will talk to me (whoa! flashbacks!). the occasional power outage is great fun too. i think i would like to have a self imposed power outage party. lets do it! we could play cards by candlelight.
we always tried to have parties the night of a big snowstorm. but even if it did work, my mom would have made all the boys there hike up to zabels house even in the worst weather.
Or that one time when all the boys had to drive home in very bad weather..hahaha!
I loved when I was in school and there was a buzz in the air that snow was coming..I'd wake up the next morning and before my alarm clock even sounded I'd spring out of bed to look out the window and when I saw the blanket of snow...I sunk right back into bed for a power nap before great snowball fights.
