by In the past few weeks I've noticed that many stressful situations have arisen. I have gotten more phone calls which begin with the words... "Can I just tell you -- yada yada yada..." or "I have to go to a funeral..." Seriously, not to be cliche but when it rains it really does poor. I have sent more sympathy card and more Cheer Up cards in the last two weeks than I think I did in the last year.
Anyone else see this same trend? Anyone else have this happening?
More friends of mine have told me insane stories about their families, their friends, their pets... than anyother time of the year.
I was out in service in a friend of mine's congregation and the sister I was with, who I had JUST met, told me her life story... in the end I appreciated my situation much much more. We all suffer through trial and error and in the end, no matter how perfect the other pwrson's situation seems, there is always something that they have had to work through to make it look that effortless.

I hate when people make excuses for their behavior because something terrible happened to them...... arent we all going through the same thing in this time of the end? admit it!
