Sleep! Rescue Me!
...take me back to my home! (Oh, take me home!)
I have become a resister of sleep and I like it! Though, this is NOT the wise course. With my hectic schedule, I need all the sleep I can get. But the more busy I get, the later I stay up. The more things I have pending to do, the more I want to defy sleep and ponder everything under the moon BESIDES those things. I admit, I was pretty tired around 12:30am and I could have responded to that but once my brain was stimulated, I sat up in bed indian style, my ears picking up the sound of slow morning rain outside of my window. I smiled to myself because it sounded so subtle and soft and songlike. And then I heard Brian's alarm go off. I excitedly ran to the door and opened it, letting the bright hallway light shine onto my face, I didn't mind. Brian wasn't in his room so I got his cell and rushed to bring it to him. He met me half way in the kitchen. We were siblings in the night. What fun! As I smiled at him, I continued my telephone conversation. I felt a weird sensation on my head..my hair was standing up! I had been playing with it, teasing it with my fingers this whole time! Brian chuckled to himself. It really is exhilerating to be up at those odd hours. But after work, after class, after the concert tonight, I don't think I'll feel THIS good. And that's a shame. But the damage is done and about to get worse..
..let's add a couple 7 hour flights and some jetlag to REALLY mess up my flow!

I really really really like the way this is written. It kinda reads like one of those cool stories in weird 'zines. Haha..
:) Yea, it does. It was really really really fun writing it! I wanna try to write a short story one of these days.
Sorta like "Highlights"
I was shocked you were awake. I thought I was the only night creature in the house. Reminds me--I need more sleep too.
wait, wait, you and suchgr8heights are related????????????
Brother and Sister, Al.
The Death Cab show was off the hook, as to be expected. After class I had to rush home for my car that was in the shop, go to my old apt for my ticket (my mail is STILL getting sent there! grr!) and head for the city. I parked in Hobo and caught the immie bus into the city. I must have gotten off the subway too soon or too late, idk but I had to walk a few city blocks to get to Roseland Ballroom but I got there JUST in time. Met up with my friends Sean and Jesse..and we rocked out.
