Employment is No Fun
by So many people that know me and some that don't know that I've been complaining about unemployment for about two months. I have since found a job that is 35 minutes away from my house, but extremely close to Original Snob. This will now begin my complaints about employment being no fun. First and foremost, I have an incredibly long drive. 208 to 287. Exit #35=FAR!. Its ok though, the CD collection is good right now. Second, I dont' yet have a set schedule. I find out my schedule for the next day the day before. Also, I think my boss is concerned about me and traffic so he has me come in in them middle of the day, thus I have no real opportunity for serivce even though I am only working about 3 or 4 hours. Plus, on my way to work yesterday, I rear ended the car in front of me (see Five-0's journal entry "CRASH"). Of my 3 fender benders that I have had the entire time I've been driving (3 years) 2 have been during my work day. This is not encouraging to me. On the other hand, the job is part-time which I love, and the money is fairly good too. But one thing that makes me most happy is the fact that this is more of a talkative office. My other office was so quiet and if you talked you got stared at by one of the partners like you were only allowed to work. All in all, though, I am very happy to have a job once again!! Yay money!!
