New love? Updated!!

Have you ever loved something but at the time could not? Such has happened to me. I have found something that had escaped me for some time.

The things I love most are making people laugh and now, playing music for them. I’ve sat there when someone who can sing and play an instrument plays for you. They are happy and so are you. I’m not yet as good as that laughter part, but maybe one day. Anyway, we’ll see how long it lasts, as it takes up a lot of time and can be erratic. I’ve really no idea because it’s just me in my room and if contrary to my beliefs I do stink I’ll have to stop.

But for now, I love my acoustic guitar. She is great, much better than I deserve. But so far we seem to make a great pair. I’ve not really had anyone’s advice on the matter yet, so one of these days I’ll schedule a performance more than a few hours in advance. So far I have two under my belt, one from Friday night and one from this past Sunday…

By the way, open mic people are weird. Some have no real concept of how truly terrible they are. BUT, pink haired women who can sing are hot, let me tell you…
