It isn't garlic
My breath seriously smells like onions. I've been slacking on my grocery shopping. Last night I went to make today's lunch and found basically one leaf of lettuce in my vegetable drawer. I had to expand my salad with chicken, olives, feta, and onions. *Note to self: go shopping you bum. I don't think I'll have time tonight though. Wednesdays are Lost nights and I plan on going to get my Brian Regan tix and then go to the gym. I have been to the gym the past three days and I don't want to break my momentum. Even if that means I am working out with the janitors. I want to lose another 5 lbs and the gym is gonna make my dream come true. PLUS, I agreed to go snowboarding/skiing at Elk Mountain Xmas day, and I need extra strength. I have only been snowboarding once about 5 years ago. It was painful, the snow at Elk was rock hard. My knees were mega swollen. Hopefully rollerblading will help strengthen my legs. I was way out of shape last time. I invited my roommate to come along and she wants me to ski, my friend who invited me wants to board. I'm not sure which I'll do.
By the way, I woke up sick yesterday with a cold. I took Cold Eeze pills and they really worked. Something about the Zinc. I took about 5 throughout the day. They are really disgusting and they make your mouth taste like powdered metal but it was worth it. I highly recommend them.

My record for not going grocery shopping is 4 weeks. By the end of the 4th week, I was having dry cereal for breakfast every day and pasta for lunch and dinner. Fortunately, I was walking 3 miles a day to and from work, so the pasta didn't make me that logey.
Now my husband has to eat too and we have to go every week. I wish I could break my record, though...
you'll find your stride. mikayla typically goes grocery shopping once every two weeks, with a small trip to the store for milk and bread, etc in between there somewhere.
Yeah, I've gotten used to it. I hate those little trips to the store between big grocery trips; specifically because I work so close to home and there's no little stores on my trek, so I have to go out of the way which really bothers me. So when we run out of milk, yogurt and salad fixin's, I know it's time to ride the grocery cart.
I think I am getting close to 4 weeks now. I do get an odd sense of accomplishment from stretching my groceries that far. Food just isn't the same when you have to buy it yourself.
WOW 4 WEEKS! Thats amazing. I dont know how long i have stretched it. It would be interesting though. We eat alot so I dont imagine it to be to long. and i dont make alot of pasta cause I dont rally like it,and we always have pasta in the house because we dont eat it. ha. cereal I LOVE, its a fun snack anytime, i eat cereal and ice cream alot....btw those of you who have wegmans close by i found it to be cheaper than my local grocery store,, and I LOVE WEGMANS< HOLY PANSYS, its amazing. the meat there is phenominal. the best part is its cheaper, i typically spend aroun 260-ish for food, but we got so much more meat at wegmans plus regular grocerys and it came to be around that same price, it was such joy! as my friend says that place is DIVINE :) wink.. k, Im done.. ha ha(sorry i love food)
I cannot stress this enough: WEAR KNEEPADS
