Flowers and affection

ekulu by ekulu · Dec 18, 2004 · 155 views · Journal

Today a freind of mine asked me what was something that I loved about life. Like, something that I didnt exist, I would miss. The first thing that came to my mind was flowers I dunno, because theyre beautiful . So then I told him there were two things, flowers and affection. Those are two of the most important things to me on earth. Both of those make each day really beautiful and worth living.

So I found out that a week ago a freind of mine died, a sister that i went to pioneer school with. The funeral was today, and I didnt even find out until afterwards. I happend to call a freind and he asked me why I wasn't at the funeral. I was like "what funeral????" "You don't know," he asked. Then he told me tha last thing I wanted to hear. God, that hurts. I hate death. So now everything feels really weird.
By the way, I was named ministerial servant last friday (yay), so that's keeping me spiritually busy. So, good news and bad news. Wel, ok everybody. Have a good night, sleep well, have a good tomorrow.

Congratulations and I'm sorry to hear about your friend :( Death is so messed up and don't be sad no one called you..dealing with that type of thing is so hard that you can't always think of calling everyone you should, you know?

I love flowers. Something I would miss more then flowers though is the ocean, I think, or sunshine on a spring day. I say spring day because summer sun is too hott but when it's cool out and you can sit in a ray of sun and just get all warm it's awesome.

I'm so sorry to hear about your friend. Death is so unsettling. I know with me, I try not to think about it, I even avoid watching the news! But disregarding it doesn't make it any less real and it's a shame it takes things like this and what happened friday night to make me come to terms with it. I'm rambling! sorry!

Flowers..I love 'em, any kind! I remember last year after I had surgery, my friends brought me roses and there were this unique mix of golden yellow and orange.

ANYway..congrats on your appointment as MS! That's wonderful! :) If I knew your address I'd send ya flowers! Do you have any favorite kind?

OOoh! I have a rosebush on the side of my house. It's the only thing that's like..mine. And it grows these orange/yellow/pink roses. Sometimes they're just one of those colors and other times they're all three and they smell awesome. I'll have to send you one!

I've said it before, but I'll say it again: Congrats, Adam, I'm really proud of you. Jehovah must be beaming when he looks at you! Keep up the great work.

About your friend, I am so sorry. Just another reason to stick with Jehovah, so that we can see our friends, family, and loved ones in the new world.
