Dusty Garfunkle

thatdarngirl by thatdarngirl · Nov 22, 2005 · 108 views · Journal

Dusty Garfunkle, the kitty cat, had to be put to sleep yesterday. This is a very traumatic experience and therefore I submit a petition to Ian to make all animals immortal (cept snakes). Really, having to kill my cat is worse then a person dieing for me. For people its like "Oh don't worry they'll wake up in a field of flowers next to a lion" but for my cat he's just very much dead and 2 feet under in a cardboard box in my back yard. The animal doctor told me not to worry because he was playing in heaven with her cat. Totally wanted to punch her. If anything, my cat would have gone to hell for all the chipmunks he has killed.

:( having lost like 98 birds this past year, i sort of know how you feel

and i still cry when i think about my doggie that we had to leave behind in Poland and then he ran away and most likely died

so yeah, losing pets is not cool :(

While i totally feel your pain, i can only feel so sorry since it is a cat. Just kidding, i dont' think anyone should have to go through it....

I'm so sorry to hear this, hun. I had to put my cat to sleep a few months after I got married, and it was so hard for me. I'd had him for 15 years, and he was my baby. It's rough,I know, and I still miss him. But think of the happy times you had with him, and sometimes (but not always), it helps.

*HUGS!!!!*
