I am a big kid.
I dont say that because I am a 250 pound fatty. Or the fact that I wear diapers. No, its the things that make me happy. I am not a complicated guy... I like to be happy, and i like to see people around me happy. Milkshakes... yes vanilla milkshakes make me happy. And snow days. Ask any kid in school what makes them happy, and it would be a snow day. I am the same, I dont have school, I have a job. But when I hear about snow coming, I get all excited and hopeful. And then I have that same crushing disapointment on waking up and seeing nothing on the ground.
Mature adults get excited over different things, dinner at a nice resturant, buying a new vacuum. whatever. But me... no... i am not excited because I saved a bundle switching to Geico. Simple things make me happy... and thats it.
But... i am babbling, i just want snow and a snow day... is it that hard to get!? SHEESH

isn't it so nostalgic when you hear about school closings on the news... I remember waking up like at 7 and seeing the snow falling, and turning on 101.5 or whatever station had school closings, and just laying in bed half-asleep and waiting to hear Edison High School... CLOSED. Or Herbert Hoover Middle School... CLOSED.
And our stupid stupid superintendent in Edison was so ghey... half the time it was only a delayed opening.
And so then my sister and brother and I would get up and play in the snow. Until it was time to get ready for the delayed opening. haha
