Here a few other things I've written. If you don't like one, skip to the next set. I really like the 3rd(and last) of these.

(has to do with a girl, but I don't remember which...I think it's kinda old...but I like it.)

tongue tied
heart twisted
don't know what to say
cause I'm numb to my feelings

have I brought this on myself?
self-inflicted?
am I too focused on anything
but the pain to fix it?

do what is right,

solid, firm, tried, tested, true,
the pure of heart will not lie to you,
not fame, not money, not power, but love,
to heal, to help, to teach, to solve.
there's only one way to be pure,
no man or angel will be the cure.

so it's come to this,
