When it rains, it pours in my life....

Ok, so I moved into an apartment under my sister and her friend's names in Mansfield about 3 weeks ago. It was a great plan at the time, I only had to come up with August's rent and then pay the rest of the lease. I was doing this to bail my sister out of suffering an eviction on her credit. I also thought it was time to move on with the kids away from my parents into something that was our own. Well, AFTER I moved in it was brought to my attention that they owed 2 months of past due rent, plus late and legal fees. Now it's even more and neither has the money to help pay for it. UGH....
I don't know what they were thinking. Why would you ask a person to take over your lease and then not tell them the whole situation? My problem is I'm too trusting. So I tried getting it in my name...no go. Apparently my credit is not good enough. I don't really get that though. I make more than enough money to live there. I make more than both of them combined. So my only option is to rent privately.
So on Friday I'm throwing my stuff into storage and staying with my parents for a month until I have enough for a deposit. I may rent a house. That's probably my best option. It's just a major headache.
I'm still staying in the Hackettstown congregation, no worries. I'm gonna move back into that area after I get things squared away. I love the area and it's a very warm congregation. So give yourselves some pats on the back. You know who you are. :o)
I'm also addicted to Ian Zabel talks now. So why break up a good thing. LOL!

>_<

why can't things be easier?

but it's cool you'll be staying in hackettstown. i think it's funny that like every single meeting you've come to so far, i've given a talk or read the watchtower. haha...

The meeting really cheered me up last night. I almost had an anxiety attack earlier. The last 3 years of my life have been ridiculous. It's like I take one step forward then something happens and brings me 2 steps back. I guess in these times, it's to be expected. It's like Jesus said, we all have to endure to the end.

I'm glad you're staying, too. My dad asked if I knew who you were and he's excited to meet you.

I should be back in the territory soon. I just have to drive a little further to meetings for now. A whole 10-12 miles. I'll survive. hehe...

Yeah that'd be nice. I have lots of names to remember.

It's mostly the other girl's fault but my sister (yes fleshly one) is more worried about getting a car for herself than helping pay her debt. The other girl lied to me and said she only owed a months worth of back rent which my sister was unaware of. But it really ended up being 3 times that much when I investigated it. I'm extremely annoyed because I uprooted my kids and they were excited about living there and now we have to find another place.

i'm so sorry about that....its SUCH a bummer she didnt care too much about you and the kids and that you're their caretaker and thats taking away from them too.

i cannot express how sorry i am.

Yeah well, I now know I can only trust my family and friends that are in the truth.

Thank you for your concern.

So tomorrow I get to waste a vacation day to load up a storage unit. Yippee...

Haha...I wish it worked that way. Although, I'd live very well if I was kidless. Do you know of any sweat shops that need some kids to make sneaker soles? LOL!

Sorry to hear about this bro. If I can help find you somewhere to live tho, just ask.

I want to rent a house in the Hackettstown area. Something for no more than $1200-1300 a month. If you could keep your eyes open that'd be appreciated. Thanks.

I'll see what I can do bro.
